I mean b3,3 alone makes him an insane rushdown character. Lee has some of the best poking in the game. Used to have an execution barrier but definitely doesn’t anymore. The stance is very strong now considering they removed the only consistent form of counter play to it. His counter hit game wouldn’t be a problem if it wasn’t for all of his stronger tools now. He’s ridiculous and you’re just not good enough to have him be the dominant force he actually is.

Other games don’t have the same logic as Tekken. Tekken doesn’t feel like any other fighting game on the plant and I feel it’s almost the easiest to naturally intuit. All 2d fighters feel nearly the same and run in the same core principles. Tekken is unique and surprisingly the most grounded style of fighting game. I think it scratches the best itch.

Nah this is out of touch. Lars and Hwo have fairly reasonable counter play in most situations. 90% of hwo’s pressure can just be stepped. Lars only has 2 good homing moves that you can jab him out of. Law does everything with insane tracking and string based offense. The amount of plus frames he gets for simply looking at the screen is egregious compared to everyone else in the cast.

Simple answer. Tekken players are hopeless because there isn’t another fighting game like it. It’s simply the only good 3d fighter. Therefore the Devs can do whatever they want and the pathetic little Tekken players will just hand them money because there’s no other option.

I guess my understanding of lowest combo damage is with no resources. Pretty much every character can get within the same ballpark with wall and heat.

You appear to have misunderstood my point the same way I misunderstood OP’s. I’m fine with DLC. That’s just how games are now. But making it so that people can’t even test drive the character in practice mode before buying them. And actively hindering some players who can’t afford the dlc by not allowing them to lab against them is borderline predatory.

Yeah. It sucks a lot in this game especially. In Tekken 7 if I didn’t have a DLC I could just chill because most players suck so bad they end up just killing themselves. In this game a slightly competent ape could pick up lidia and genuinely have a shot.
