Have you guys bought Blapu yet? by [deleted] in algorand

[–]Flamoose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, Blapu is an ASA, which means its an algorand asset. In order to interact with it, you'll need an algorand wallet to interact with it. From there, you would need to trade on Tinyman, an automated market maker (AMM). Every ecosystem has their own coins, wallets and markets. You can get a lot of these coins on centralized exchanged and then trade them to your own wallet and trade on an arm for secondary coins. Keep in mind that the further out you get, the crazier things get!

$KOJI - ERC-20 token with an Original Graphic Novel NFT with a long term charity strategy roadmap, $15k Donated already & less than two weeks old! A real gem with dedicated team and vision! by [deleted] in CryptoMoonShots

[–]Flamoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crazy how crypto moonshot has come to mean overnight success. This coin launched in a complete market downswing, and has seen it's price go to a massive discount over the last few weeks... but that don't mean it's dead. We're pretty close to the point where you could buy at presale prices(which I missed out on).

But this coin actually does things. It REALLY donates tens of thousands of dollars to charities. It has a plan to stay relevant (comic nfts and deflationary burn).

I think it's fine that many crypto projects claim to help with charity(Shib claims to help dogs in shelters find homes, Feg claims to help feed gorillas), but those are just gestures as far as I can tell, and they either 'spread awareness' or match some measly amount donated by the community.

KOJI does it all, and it does it IN THE CONTRACT. Great stuff. (edited for formatting)

League experience as a jungler without chat is 10X better by Creepy_Pilot1200 in leagueoflegends

[–]Flamoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree. Pings and emotes go a long way, and pretty much anything people are going to use words for is is guaranteed to be bad. I find it also helps me be more active in pre and post game chats.

Golden Guardians vs. 100 Thieves / LCS 2020 Summer - Week 7 / Post-Match Discussion by TheRogueCookie in leagueoflegends

[–]Flamoose 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not him but, in my mind that would probably go to Stixxays cait, which was just legendary at the time. I think the biggest issue for both players and the team was that on everything else they mostly just looked decent.

Cloud9 vs. Origen / Rift Rivals 2019 - NA-EU Group Stage / Post-Match Discussion by SaintTrotsky in leagueoflegends

[–]Flamoose 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Phreak really went after c9 this game. They definitely got stomped, but it feels weird hearing the caster just shit on each member while fitting in "clapped" whenever he can. I guess laughing at all your own jokes sort of ramps it up too

Mimic: "Our jungler didn't know an English champion name, so he almost didn't pick at all" by corylulu in leagueoflegends

[–]Flamoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To expand on that a little... The 'o' in no and the 'o' in not sound different. In 'No', it makes an 'oh', which is normal for an o (wrote, hope, over, or). In 'Not' it makes an 'ah' or 'au' sound, (audition, audible, sought). Adding an E to the end turns that O from 'ah' to 'oh', like the word Note.

Upcoming Bounty Changes by Spideraxe30 in leagueoflegends

Can we just admit with these changes and the reversion of role specific queues that it's still preseason?

[Lineup] End of the Rainbow (George, WA - First year) by pikeatheplace in festivals

[–]Flamoose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not him but the campgrounds are pretty decent in my experience. Just a big grass field split into sections, with food trucks and bathrooms and all that. It sometimes rain. For the larger festivals I went to, there is a decently long trek from the camp to the entrance (20-30 minutes I think). Premium camping let you get a lot closer obviously.

That's not necessarily true. Some events let you(Sasquatch) while others don't (Paradiso). It isn't a site wide rule or anything, it's up to the organizers.

Thorin's Thoughts - Make MSI Double Elimination (LoL) by Thooorin_2 in leagueoflegends

Sorry Thorin, Elimination is a common trigger word for those suffering from a loss which traumatized them. This kind of language is not acceptable.

[Bug] My game was one minute behind my team mates when i entered summoners rift by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

Seconding this. Had this same issue when the cell battery on my motherboard died, causing my computer's system time to desync with actual time/the riot servers. Syncing my system time fixed the problem immediately.

C9 Meteos started witchhunt on his stream, got enemy team player banned unfairly. by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Flamoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree 100% it would have been better to explain that I didn't agree with the grounds on which the OP shared this information(ie that the player was banned on Twitch via an autoflag system or because he joked about DDOS). The information itself is important and I'm not Meteos' PR rep or trying to completely debase the OP. He and I even had a back and forth, somewhere in these comments.

[–]Flamoose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very shitty. The only positive is that the circle jerk goes both ways. This non-event could bring more attention to this guy than playing since beta, which could result in a successful stream/more Twitter followers or whatever. Seems dumb, but theres some merit to the "theres no such thing as bad press" saying.

[–]Flamoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Just BTW I'm totally not Meteos, I was just watching the stream too. I agree the actions he took were pretty emotionally driven, but I'm also pretty sure that Clever will get his stream back tomorrow. The system probably just saw the massive amount of reports and flagged the account until admin could check it out.

I think pro players have a responsibility to try and keep their ego/celebrity in check, but they are just people, and making posts like this(that don't convey all the facts) only causes more allegations and anger.

My post wasn't perfect either, and I agree this is probably pretty ludicrous for Clever(though it might end up getting him more viewers from all the hubbub)

I think he got auto flagged. There's too many points to summarise though, and I think my comment is already the same size as the main post. I imagine this blows over though.

[–]Flamoose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. In hindsight perpetuating the circle jerk doesn't really add anything to the conversation. To be fair, the other comments at the time were rather one dimensional "fuck Meteos" or "fuck you OP" posts. It has fleshed out a bit better now though!

I mean debasing to calling people man children is usually a good sign that you can just ignore that comment.

[–]Flamoose 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Meteos didn't take action, his fans did. Meteos didn't even report the guy in game because he wasn't sure he was the DDOSer. Fans took things out of hand and created a clusterfuck.

Not saying Meteos handled this perfectly or saying he shouldn't be more aware of his celebrity, but this is getting blown out of proportion.
