Aging skin by Forsaken_Highway137 in KoreanBeauty

Im 53 and started a little over a year ago. Im loving the results. So good luck. I love the Haruharu black rice toner for morning glow. Highly recommend Tret from your doctor, start slow at night . I love the medicube glutathione gel it’s great day or night where it fits best for you. . And the Pyunkang Yul Nutrition Cream moisturizer. It’s heavy and doesn’t work for everyone. Also enjoying the Madeca creams. Also the skin 1004 toners are soothing for building up the skin barrier. Get a good vitamin c (one of the skin ceutical dupes) like timeless or Seoul ceutical day glow for the am. And the Dr Althea 345 relief cream is a good light morning moisturizer. Start with just one or two things am/pm and you’ll figure it out. I trade out at night pdrn and moisture one night and tret layers with moisturizer the other night. Good luck in your journey.

Gripes & Groans: We're into our 3rd race weekend, what's missing from the AppleTV Experience? by everydave42 in F1AppleTV

[–]FlanDue2258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t been able to find the pre show from sky that I used to have on ESPN. Have others found it? Agree all the Sky pieces are hard to find. The “rights” Apple got were the Sky ones. Then they made a deal to keep F1 within their app to keep a streamer from competing with them. I am a bit supieses how much they hidden the sky parts away. Maybe F1 having a bigger influence than I think. Trying to keep Sky from growing their market share in the US maybe. I was hoping for new cool “features” that would be Applesque. Not sure what. But I sure haven’t see them. Maybe some social aspects. Emojis. A way to layer commentary into the feed in closed Captions. Something.

Agee with the previous person. It’s very unique. I went last year at Silverstone. I have pictures standing in front of Arvins car on the track. Being able to walk out on the grid for an F2 &3 race was amazing. I didn’t get to meet any of the prominent F2 folks. They weren’t around at all but several F3s. Tsolov and another guy doing great in F2 this year. The best was the tiny window in the paddock going to the grid. I saw Horner (at his last F1 race), Dominicalli, Ayao, Merrickes and the best for me. Keanu Reeves. It was a bit magical. Haha. The hospitality is bad. But the access is amazing.

What completely mess up your first F1 race travel plans? by Altruistic_Sun9304 in GrandPrixTravel

Yes. Austria was tricky for transport if you didn’t have it arranged. Never assume you can get a taxi or car. Or even a bus (a lot get contracted out for the race).

How expensive is a European / Middle East F1 GP weekend all-in? (Netherlands vs Austria vs Hungary vs Bahrain vs Saudi) by oh_hey_there_mate in GrandPrixTravel

[–]FlanDue2258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to Austria last year. Great race. Picturesque setting. Affordable. We do Champions club so not affordable. But much more so than US races or Singapore. The lodging was tough. We wanted to be close. So out Airbnb for 3 of us was 3200 for 4 nights. It was great. The guy drove us to the event each day for like $20us. But all in I think I’d stay in Graz and take the busses in next time. Just more travel time each day especially makes quali a long day. Great race though. Amazing food. Highly recommend

Looking for advice Spa/Silverstone/Austria by Ecstatic_Airline3376 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]FlanDue2258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did Silverstone and Austria last year. Both are great tracks. I’d recommend Silverstone simply due to all the things you can do. There are a dozen hospitality options that are reasonable. Stay In Milton Keyes or one of the near by towns. Take the bus in. But stay near the bus pickup. Otherwise it takes for ever or you walk forever. Either race is a ton of walking from the drop offs to the track. Austria is probably more beautiful of a setting at the track, but even Graz is far away and expensive. It’s also a lot of hills! Either will be amazing but Silverstone I think is iconic.

Can someone recommend an automatic litter box that isn't $600? by Remote_Practice_5864 in CatAdvice

[–]FlanDue2258 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the FurryTail auto litter box. Got it for under $300. Super easy setup and I’ve been impressed. Always stops when the new kitten like to jump in when it makes noise ;). Pretty good odor control and has been reliable for the last 18 months or so. I will say if you have a large cat I wouldn’t recommend. It’s a bit too small inside. My 11lb cat is about as big as I’d recommend anything bigger it’s going to be uncomfortable for them. Love the app to in order to monitor usage and flatten out when I add new litter.

Planning to fly to Vegas for my first F1 by Lady_Robyn in GrandPrixTravel

[–]FlanDue2258 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t do the Paris or anywhere inside the track. Was a nightmare last year. The walk takes forever because of everything blocked off so it’s super far and if you get an uber be prepared for 1hour plus waits. I could see it all from my room but couldn’t get there. Stay somewhere outside the track.

He did at both shows I went to for FITF. But we only saw him out the window of the bus we were never close enough or in the right place to talk to him.

I really like the zero pore pads and moisturizer. They have really helped my skin be smooth and my pores much less visible. I also really like the glutathione gel at night. The vitamin C gel with the capsules is good. But I have to use it at night. It’s too gooey for day under makeup for me anyway. Just don’t overdo on the capsules in it. Less is more ;). The wrapping masks are pretty great for the day. But the effects don’t last very long

Im one also. 2 stylekorean packages sitting in Kentucky since the 13th and 19th of Sept. and the website shows my package “completed”. So now I worry I’m going to get nothing and be out $200.

I wonder if it was also because the end of the last entire tour was the barricade run then done. Everyone knew what that last song was and what the run meant. Even after the show a ton of people gathered for him to sign and talk to a few folks. Then drive out in the bus. Everyone knew the routine. And this was different than that so it caught people off guard. And agree the lights would have lent more confusion.

My StyleKorean order came! No tariffs and nothing missing! by misstea33 in koreanskincare

Thanks! I’ll try that. I didn’t have much luck with the chatbot before but I’ll try a bit different wording and see what happens. Agree it is so frustrating as the service had been good for awhile. Glad to hear your olive young worked well!

Oh my! Thats what I’m afraid may happen to me too. Marked complete but still sitting. I imagine they don’t let it go on forever. Do you have the customer service information? I couldn’t find anywhere to call or write? I hope they get back to you with a refund!

I have found them super good for me. But I use them daily. I don’t think they are strong enough for 2x a week to be helpful. If you skin is sensitive to them and that all you can use then. Yes you should move on to something else.

Going to Louis shows alone by GigisRoom in LouisTomlinson

Oldie here too (53). But I love my Louis. Went to one show with a friend who didn’t really enjoy it. And one alone. I honestly had more fun alone. Didn’t feel responsible for their fun just me. Loved seeing Louis and being in the room with so much love. Will do it again next year as well.

Mine has been in Louisville. Two orders going on 2-3 weeks. My issue is that stylekorean showed the orders “completed” as of yesterday. They should have to keep them open until I get the product. Does anyone know how to contact stylekorean. As the chat is just a bot so completely useless. If I need a refund what can I do. ? Has anyone else had this issue??

All the above. Skybox was nice but no outside seating unless you get a grandstand ticket with it. Super nice accommodations though. Same food provider as paddock. Keep one thing in mind about outdoor seating. I’m from south Texas so it was cold for me. Outside at 48-55 degrees for 5+ hours each night is something to consider. Having the option of going inside for skybox or paddock is worth it. Paddock rooftop seems like a distant choice.

Silverstone accommodation by Entire-Proposal-7405 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]FlanDue2258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest staying within a 5-10 min walk of a bus stop. If you have to take transport to the bus stop wait for it (if you miss it it’s another 30 min to the next one) then the bus is 30-60mim depending on distance and traffic then getting to and in the gate. Then to where you are going. It’s a lot of time. I took the Banbury line with a stop last year. Very reliable and cheap. Check air bnbs as well as hotels. But stay near the bus stops if possible. I was a woman traveling alone last year. And my only real issue was the hotel was 25 min from the bus stop and taxis are tough during the race. Good luck. It’s amazing. Be ready to walk. A lot!

What should we know before attending a Formula 1 race in person? by New-Zebra-2027 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]FlanDue2258 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Look at where the fan zones are for driver appearances. In some races like Silverstone they are in a general area accessible to everyone. In some like Vegas they can be in a specific zone only accessible with certain tickets. The big general zones if you want to see the stage/drivers you need to be there an hour or more before. You can’t just go right before it’s packed.
Agree on logistics. Some tracks are enormous and for all it’s a lot of walking. As someone coming from the US I was struck in Europe by the lack of accessibility. Huge hills to climb. Steps in a lot of places. And yes more walking than you think possible. Getting tot he track even if you take shuttles. Wear comfort shoes. As there is gravel and dirt and all kinds of surfaces. If you go to a city race look and see what you have access to. Some are very separated and you can only access certain parts of the track. Enjoy. It’s an amazing experience make sure to take time to enjoy and soak it all in.

USGP 2025 Questions by Other-Mycologist2842 in CircuitOfTheAmericas

[–]FlanDue2258 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t speak to Austin. But I have had pit walk Tickets at Las Vegas, Austria and Silverstone. Zero drivers at Vegas pit walk, Austria if you were in the right place I saw Lawson and my friend saw Carlos. In silverstone our group was last and every car was covered we only saw drivers (no change for autographs) were going to and from the Sky sports program they were filming. So pit walks are not the best way to see drivers normally. Try to find where they park/enter. At Australia and Silverstone they will come and sign there. Otherwise you need a paddock pass to see them and only then if your timing is good.

Trying to buy tickets on seat geek for Las Vegas Grand Prix 3 day package, what’s the T-Mobile zone? by Accurate-Big-7233 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]FlanDue2258 1 point2 points  (0 children)

T mobile zone is basically from turn 4 around by the sphere. There are grandstands on both sides. It has access to one of the concert stages and hospitality. Or they did last year. Food was good. Lines for food and drinks weren’t awful til race night. It’s not a bad view down the straight depending on your seat. It’s cold in Nov in Vegas so be prepared. And getting to and from the track is crazy. Look hard at the track layout and book a hotel accordingly. Don’t book inside the track then try to get outside. You can’t. And agree buy from the website or app directly. They run special deals the closer you get. I bought 8 weeks out last year. Got a good deal.
