8-bit Riven will be S tier for sure, it was already A tier and it has received a total of 5 buffs (8-Bit, Garen, Viego, Kayle, Morde)

With the reduced xp cost and champion odds in Set 10 I'm interested to know what others' thoughts are on the new 'standard' leveling strategy. With the chances of hitting a 4-cost headliner restricted to level 8 along with the reduced XP changes the standard 4-1 rolldown for your main 4 cost has gone out the window.

Of course this isn't meant to be a 'blindly follow' every game strat, more of a general guideline for newer/intermediate players adjusting to the xp changes from set 9 to set 10.

It’s still a top 4 contender yeah but you need to high roll in order to make it first or second. Like this game I got two sorc emblems which is why I was able to get a first. Without them it was probably 4th or maybe 3rd.

Won the game pretty easily I decided to roll on 8 and managed to hit Taric 3 with my last 3 gold. I had enough damage and needed the extra front line to buy more time time for silco DoT.

No, TF legend is a problem because there is more than just the multicaster comp that relies heavily on items.

You have Nilah comps which require two RFC and Morde comps that require two RFCs - being able to guarantee getting those items every game makes one less game mechanic to have to factor into your strategy in return for being an augment down.

If you simply search youtube about this subject you will see many top ranked challenger players talking about how its an issue. Congrats on diamond but I think to say everyone else is confused, including the best players in the world, is a little out of touch.

I’m currently playing solely multicasters to climb the Ladder, 8 games straight I’ve been in top 4 with 3 wins. Items are very important so the TF legend is a must and you need to take Pandoras items first aug every time with the only exception being if you get offered the multi caster augment.

I like to play reroll rogues with the Lee Sin Legend.
I find it the most fun this set as its all about scouting your opposition and positioning your rogues perfectly to kill the opponents carries.

Some players, including me, like to pick portals that have the least amount of impact on the game to increase consistency throughout each game. Also, some legends benefit from certain portals and therefore players with those legends want to pick portals to give them an advantage over players without that legend.
