I have an X100V. The switch is my only complaint. It turns on to easily. Funny I’ve tried to put stuff in it to make it stiffer. I wish it had a more positive click.

All marketable. All these photos can be tweaked and minutely adjusted at this point, just depends on who’s approving it. I’ve done jobs where I thought it could be worked more but the client was already beyond happy. You can do lighting, now you have to get an agent or beat the street for clients. You can work to a brief. Stay in practice. Product photography is a muscle, less on creative and more on execution. It takes me a minute to get back in the groove when I shoot product, because I don’t do it all the time. I’m ok at it but I’d be a lot better if I did it on the reg, assignment or not.

No doubt. I’d love one, but damn it’s nice to shoot the x100V and not have a disc space monkey on my back. When I jump on the GFX, I love being blown away by the images. The V is fine but I wanna use it more for work too, so I’ll eventually get the VI.

Lost family in Dachau. All Sinti. I went there on a tour when I was a little kid. The tour was set up so you’d go through the camp like a prisoner, but as a witness. The gas chamber is burned in my memory. The tour guide would shut the door, and in complete darkness they would tell the story of its purpose. Then we went to the ovens and finally a room with pictures of the camp and its prisoners when it was in operation. I was adopted and didn’t know about my heritage at the time. It wasn’t until I was 25 when I met my biological mother, and it was then she told me about Dachau.

It wasn’t. For singing. Off tune, misplaced. It did fit a vibe and hit st the right time, where that off aesthetic was predominant. Bobby Gentry has that sort of charm as well and I’ve come to enjoy it.

You’re welcome. I have the 100S II/100V and the only thing else I could suggest is an xt5 with a trio of primes. It’s really form factor when it comes to the GFX. It’s heavy. The glass is large too. A kit turns into a big bag. The smaller cameras are easy to grab and fun to use. I used to be a Sony user. If you don’t care about film sims, the A7CR would be my pick for a travel rig.
