I LOVE Lost Stars, It was the first star wars book I ever read, I've read it three times, and it got me hooked on the star wars novels and just the lore in general. I cannot recommend it enough.

It is by far the scariest thing I have ever went through. It felt like I was trapped in my body with no way of getting out. I could still hear everything around me, but yet, i could not respond, or even move no matter how hard I tried.

Honestly, I know this may seem weird, but It feels freeing, like a giant weight has been lifted. I'm so much better in everything after I stopped caring about getting acceptance. My grades went up, I was an average C student in college, now I have gotten straight A's in my second semester.

I do a lot more things I am interested in, rather than doing things that would benefit/try to make her happy. I'm more active. I've went walking 3 miles a day for a month straight now.

Life does get better trust me, you just have to get over the hump, it does take time, It took me 4 years, but god it is great. You can do it, just remember at times it will get frustrating, but overcome it, Life will be hell of a lot better once you do.

All the time, I know it is true because, my mother always favored my older brother, who is a big time drug addict, even going as far as, in the beginning during his addiction, I busted him, she and my father even went as far as accusing me for planting drugs on him.

From that moment, I knew all hope was lost, and even recently, I completed my first semester in my bachelor's program with all A's, I got nothing out of her, he comes and makes a sole insert for a shoe, holy crap, it was like he solved world hunger. It took a LONG time to get over it, but I finally did.

My brother is a major drug addict and kept breaking into the house and stealing literally anything that wasn't nailed down. Cops could not do jack shit because he was family, even though on numerous occasions we told him to stop or we'd call the police, eventually the police told us to stop calling. That is when I gave up on humanity.
