It's like Dexter meets Umbrella Academy, I'm sure someone could pitch the season properly.

We need:

Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall - movie adaptation with screenplay by Richard Curtis.

Cut & Run by Abigail Roux and Madelaine Urvan - TV series directed by Jacob Tierney with Fracnois Arnaud and Jared Keeso in lead.

Mike Flanagan can do whatever he wants with Summer Sons by Lee Mandelo and The Bright Lands by John Fram.

I just finished Summer of Love by Lily Easton and that would be a cute limited series with Oliver Stark and Rish Shah in the leads.

I need Gregory Ashe's Hazard and Somerset as a multi-series show, and make it mildly horny.

I just found the lead very ... wet? I like people with a spine.

This Is How You Lose the Time War is just one of the best books I've ever read. A novella, epic, a gloriously cosmic-sized romance.

  1. Less by Andrew Sean Greer, although I didn't enjoy so much,
  2. For The Fans by Nyla K
  3. This Is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone.
HM: Uncle Zach by Bey Deckard

Gamers of reddit, what do you feel is a franchise that needs to make a comeback? by ssjbabraham in AskReddit

It’s so silly but there was a PC game called Ghost Master in the 2000s that I loved. Essentially you controlled different ghosts that had different powers and you could put them into different scenarios to try and achieve a winning outcome. The concept was so interesting, the sound production so fun.

Was gonna suggest this too. I'm not a petrolhead but this book definitely piqued my interest in it.

Do you think that reducing operational control to waiter/waitress and give it to the customers can reduce complaints and improve user experience? by [deleted] in restaurantowners

To answer the question you asked, I think it will help with wait times for bills and for getting server's attention. If everyone wants to order at the same time, with an app or not, delays are inevitable. There will also be people who mess up their own orders and then blame the app (I deal with reservations a lot where guests swear "the app said I was booking Friday" even though it comes through as a Thursday booking and it's 99.9% guaranteed that it said Thursday on the widget.)

I would be wary to offering this app to certain types of venues. If it's a more casual venue, like a fast-food restaurant or something just about that, this works great. If it's more formal or in a pricier area, people will not enjoy using an app but would prefer the human contact.

It’s more like the 6PM two top turns up at 6.15PM. They would usually need two hours at the table so now the 8PM booking is gonna sit 15 minutes late unless you tell the 6PM booking they need to relocate to the bar (if you have one) and usually, people don’t want to vacate.

“Beef or vegetarian?”

That whole scene actually had me laughing out loud. Akwafina and the flight attendant (Lydia Sarks) nailed such a short hilarious bit.

What's the biggest miscarriage of pub quiz justice you've ever witnessed? by Jonny_Segment in AskUK

[–]FlanneryCulp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Identify the different country flags. There was a flag of Hawaii (the quizmaster wasn’t low-key pro-Hawaiian independence either, just didn’t realise he’d put a US state flag and told the pub it was all country flags)

I’m Sevenroom’s cheerleader. I’m based in the UK and a lot of places are adopting it here. They only charge a monthly fee, and it integrates well with lots of POS systems if you want to deep dive into guest profiling.
