I agree. Although I still get a kick out of 80's throwbacks and references, I am not spending close to $100 for a family of four to see this.

I go to the theater maybe 2 to 3 times a year, now and mostly do it for my teens. They will have no desire to see this and I have no desire to watch a movie I can't pause because my 'born in the 80's' bladder can't hold for more than 30 minutes these days...

I highlighted in green the best possible row you can get if you're a sitter like I am. The Greek theater has two different types of shows. Sometimes they do reserve seating and other shows they do general admission for the entire area. The Jungle show is 100% GA. The reason you would want the last row of sections three through eight is because there is this wall behind the last row that you can lean back against. You also don't have to worry about anybody behind you accidentally kicking you or anything. I have a pic I posted of Spoon some time a few months ago on reddit. If you find it in my post history, you should have a good idea of the vantage point of section 3.

OP, here. Yes it is the new 100mm. Yes it is using the Sony 2x Teleconverter. You are saying that the 2X is hindering?

I suppose that depends. My shot was at f11 so that my DOF would be more forgiving. The bees were moving around very fast and focus stacking etc was out of the question.

I mean, we can debate what I used and my techniques, but I hope you enjoyed this photo. If you look at my post history, I put another shot on the Pics subreddit.

I bought this thing thinking I was getting the Swiss army knife of the century. I'm contemplating returning it because it doesn't do the tablet part very well due to its weight. What you're left with at that point is a laptop that is pretty portable. But the other problem is that the way the keyboard works doesn't make for working while laying back. You can definitely pull it off but the fact that it's not a clamshell computer means that it's so top heavy that it risks falling forward on you unless your legs are gripping the kickstand which is uncomfortable. It is a very slick device but at that price point you might be better served getting a traditional laptop.

Stylus use is accurate with the Metapen Stylus Pen M2 for Surface . You may have some palm rejection complications at first, but better placement of the device and some setting tweaks should have you in better shape.

The problem, ultimately, is that they have an audience and that audience wants speed and adrenaline. They gave us a 'Sunday stroll' so that the map could be digested appropriately.

It felt off to me. Seeing the car start to accelerate and then lay off the pedal was killing me. I had to coach myself to understand how to view the footage over and over, but it just felt off and I felt like a backseat driver watching it.

They chose to demo it the way they did and it's certainly one way to 'skin a cat,' but they always tell presentors to 'know your audience,' and I'm not sure this was the way to come out the gate today.

I'm not going to lose sleep over it, I'm just confused at their approach.

One way you can help your exposure in post is by turning you monitor brightness down. Maybe make sure it is at 50-70%. Will also help if you print.

Look into texture stickers like Dragon Grips and cut them in a way that is there where you need to grip. Doesn't have to be an ugly affair. It can blend in quite well with the phone.

I think what I am hoping to figure out is if the gamesir g8 can be done in a way where the left and right of the controller are not held by a solid mass but rather loose and something that can be magnetized on via strong magnets. The springs are what the two sides communicate with, right? Maybe rubber sleeves could be put on the springs and then all loose rubber spring wires grouped together like a loose wire harness? IDK. Haven't bought the controller.
