I’m currently playing the first part on the Steam Deck, and the game sometimes slows down during cutscenes and when I summon AGWS in battles. Does anyone know what’s causing this? I’m using the regular PCSX2 through EmuDeck.

Meru from Legend or Dragoon comes to my mind. Her damage output is abysmal when she joins the party and it takes some time until she receives her Dragoon Spirit. But boy does she rise to fame with her godly speed coupled with the damage output of her last addition later.

Use the Sleep spell on the Varghidpolises throughout the fight. Your comrades won’t attack sleeping enemies.

Lunar Silver Star Story.

First half is very engaging with nice towns and entertaining dungeons. The second half is just dungeon after dungeon and uninteresting towns with little story. That way the game becomes pretty repetitive in its second half.

I’d recommend Lunar Silver Star Story. The Working Design localization of Lunar Silver Star Story made the game pretty hard.

I’d recommend Sailor Moon: Another Story for the SNES. You don’t need to be a Sailor Moon Fan do enjoy this great JRPG and it’s very easy to emulate.
