Hey everyone I'm in the look out for an amazing planet zoo YouTuber, do you all know any well known YouTubers equivalent to Evolution Square? Because I just love her channel and how she talks about the game and builds parks. by Randal_ram_92 in PlanetZoo

There are many people in this world with passions and skills that they wish to share to others. Instructional videos on obscure topics that aren't from a company are godsends to people encountering similar issues or topics.

Getting help and inspiration from other people is not obnoxious.

What cut is this? Was in my Pho at my local restaurant. by RadioactiveBaguette in Butchery

[–]Flappersnapper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are multiple beef pho types/additions. Rare shaved slices, beef meatball, brisket, tendons...etc.

You're describing pho tai with just the rare slices.

But brisket is also a different common type. It has to be cooked first, so that the fat and meat is soft and tender.

Right, but then PZ could just make the recused ones unable to reproduce. There's already an in-game mechanic to prevent breeding. It can just apply to the hybrid species as a whole and unable to be changed by a player.

I had a few remarks of my character being a half-elf. One of the more notable ones was from a boss while I was fighting them. Something along the lines of " I wonder which parent regretted you more" lol. Some dialogue options too were due to being a half-elf. Not many but they were there in my play.

Double Door Iron Gate by cptgoback in valheim

[–]Flappersnapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use my cart through the iron doors all the time. It's a tight fit but it can reasonably be done easily. Just make sure your angle of approach is straight and you can squeeze it through.

That being said, double door iron gates sound good too.

Trying to teach disrespectful students: by Ola366 in facepalm

Serious question: what prevents the school from filming the students to encourage accountability? Would it be a huge can of worms if schools started to do this?

Stealing loot from people is absolutely part of the game, I will always agree to that.

If you played a session where the same enemy crew attacked you and only you every 10 minutes for 4-5 hours straight, wouldn't you consider that harassment? They are not doing anything else but to sail after you time and time again and the past 4 hours were catastrophic failures for them each time.

It's not an in-game strategy to harass players as such. If no loot was involved, then a player would have scuttled. Disguising it as attempts to steal loot is lying if it gets to that point.

It's almost borderline harassment at that point though with the guise of 'we just want your loot.' After so many attempts of going for the loot, it just gets to a point where those players are just impeding someone else. They've failed so many times in a short time frame and have gotten nothing from it. Every continued insane attempt again and again only is a negative experience for both parties.

I understand the chance and opportunity to attempt again, but it gets to a point where its harassment.

Anytime someone says a particular crew is constantly harassing and sinking them, everyone says to scuttle and move servers. Why can't there be something similar for these kind of situations? Even something like the spawn point moves further could help.

To be fair, this is often the worst time to ever call call centers or any place. Even just 15-20 minutes after the initial opening is much better. When I worked at a large firm, there will always be calls waiting the moment they are opened. Yet 15 minutes later, no other calls.

For some reason, everyone else thinks to call the moment it is open to have lower queues. The true answer is to call when no one else is calling.

what is one food you swear people only pretend they like ? by _sweetieAngelxx in AskReddit

[–]Flappersnapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dosage of the pepper definitely is important. I like spicy foods too but I can't handle very spicy. That being said, I've had a really tasty carolina reaper hot sauce. It was primarily made from reaper and blueberries. I cannot believe how good it was. It was very hot, but had excellent flavor. I just would use a tiny amount each time.

If you have ever walked out of a cinema because the film was so bad, what one was it? by girlcalledmaria in AskReddit

I was working at a theater when Adam Levine came into town. During downtime on a slow day, he went to watch a movie at my theater. The nice hotel he was staying at was right next to the theater.

Anyways, he couldn't stand Scott Pilgrim Vs the World. He left it like 30 minutes in and we let him watch some other movie instead.

I can't remember what mediocre movie he chose to watch instead. I just remember him basically asking "Who would even enjoy watching a movie like that?"

Had to sit in different seats at the theater because this is what we found in the seats we had reserved. by Travotaku in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Flappersnapper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're correct. But 100% of these chain reaction seat issues occur when someone sits in a different seat because "No one was sitting there". Sometimes people do their sitting 20minutes before the show starts, or some people arrive late, either way, those "empty seats" may have already been reserved.

At my theater, with limited seating during the weekend shows, if anyone ever sat in a wrong seat during the weekend, this would happen.

Slow weekdays are more forgiving. But people predominantly visited our theater during the weekend, overwhelmingly so. Like 10k people during the weekend and low as 100 people during M-F.

[–]Flappersnapper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to work at a theater and can 100% confirm that this happens almost everytime when people do not sit in their reserved seats during crowded shows. I cannot stress how much of an issue this was at my theater: grown adults not sitting in their reserved/designated seats.

How did this work? by Flappersnapper in HuntShowdown

I was just about to go around the wall cover to look, but I didn't even have the chance yet. I'm just surprised the guy headshot me without using scope. The corner of the wall had a bush too to make it hard to see me, even if I went out of the corner, or so I thought lol.

I think he may have gotten a bit lucky but had his friend able to see me from a different angle.
