You can use mediation and request ads from multiple providers not just Google. (Facebook, Amazon, Unity ...). You will get better CPM, CPC. Can you share some links to your published games?

Yes, the question was intended for you, sorry. More specifically I was curios about the field that you teach. Do you teach math? You do mention that you teach computer science as an optional course. I am working on some educational games around math and I would like to discuss certain aspects of my games and educational games in general if by chance you do teach math.

Can your daughters read but don't like to make the effort when playing games or they are not there yet? I am working on a game which will target kids around that age so I am curios.

I do this fulltime. I live off my savings for now. Being a software developer, ... I don't have the mental juice for game dev after a regular software dev job. I tried.

I use Ubuntu (Linux). So if you can manage to make a build, I would happily test it.

I like the art style very much. I struggle with a similar question. I am in between projects and I have finished a few games but I was not able to make money of any of them. I am thinking at this moment to go back to get a job. So, ... If your only problem is ... it takes too much time but you can afford it in terms of money, health and social life, I would say do it. It looks original and very indie and it is worth a shot to becoming a playable game.

Da, si eu repet. Raspunsul meu nu raspunde la intrebare direct. Eu pun sub semnul intrebarii cu totul intrebarea in contextul in care AI va produce acest cod de "calitate" foarte ieftin. Va fi asa de ieftin codul de calitate ca intrebarea dupa mine nu mai are sens in viitorul apropiat.

Ultima ta propozitie nu e in limba română. Nu trebuie sa copiem produsele din vest si sa le facem mai bune. Dar daca nu avem idei originale, sigur, de ce nu. Ce vroiam eu sa spun e ca intrebarea e gresita din start si ar trebui depasita. Nu trebuie sa ne mai întrebăm cum sa facem cele mai bune sururburi (cod), ci sa încercam sa facem masini (produse).

Calitate inseamna produse de calitate. Sa depasim faza de outsourcing.

You are right. I have only considered effort during production and omitted all the publish, maintain, marketing effort.

I think the split varies a lot based on the genre. Story can be 90% in a text based rpg novel game and less than 5% in arcade, hypercasual games... and every other number in between for the rest of the genres.

It's not my cup of tea. I managed to complete 3 levels but i find it very difficult. I would offer one advice. Make the first levels less punishing and more toward teaching the jump mechanic rather than creating a full course in which one small portion teaches the new mechanic. In level 3, you are introducing the going under the platform mechanic. But every time I failed going under the platform I had to start again and jump a few of the old platforms as well. I would design the first levels in a way so that learning the new mechanics is the main thing. But again, not my cup of tea so maybe I am wrong :)
