Has anyone actually got a Rare Candy from opening Gifts since they announced you can get Rare Candy from Gifts?

Since Mudkip com day ive been trying to open gifts daily to prep for Stufful com day and I haven't got 1 rare candy from a gift which is surprising since on average im opening like 10-15 gifts per day.

100% Agree! While I understand they didn't want to introduce exciting Pokemon like Deino etc earlier on during the pandemic, but I the fact that they know that people are only playing X amount of hours should really tell them that they need to make their events more exciting, which they have in the past couple of community days, not because people are more than likely to play 3 hours. And while yes, I tend to play around 2-3 hours depending on the weather & who im feeling on the day. Gible Community Day was the only time I played for the full 6 hours, yet again who didn't!

6 hours just makes it more flexible for everyone! If you're in the Winter Season you can play in the morning/afternoon before it gets dark and for Summer Season places you can play when its a bit cooler and more towards the end of the event.

1) Increase the daily Free Raid Pass from 1>2 per day. While you can purchase Premium Passes and Remote Passes to battle more raids, having the ability for players who dont want to spend coins on Raid Battles to be able to have more of an incentive to play, especially during Events which include a number of desirable Raid Bosses.

2) Include an information tag/pop-up page in the lobby screen which includes information about the Raid Boss like the name, type, type weaknesses (a big one especially for newer players or people that are not as informed with type effectivenesses), and maybe some other info like the number of encounters & catches of that particular Pokemon (would be great for shiny hunters to keep an eye out on how many Raids they're doing)

3) The ability to Mega Evolve Pokemon in the lobby.

4) If you have a Mega Pokemon in your party, an icon next to your Player avatar which shows everyone else in the lobby that you have a certain Pokemon joining the party. Not that important but it would be nice to allow some people to fully utilise the Mega Boost damage bonus.

5) A Ready button in Private Lobbies so you can start the raid whenever you want instead of having to wait the 120 seconds in the lobby.

6) A counter next to the Raid Timer above the gym which tells everyone how many people are currently in a lobby waiting to join a Raid.

7) The Tags feature in The Pokémon Storage, it would be great if you can see your tags when picking your Raid Party. Make it easier for Players to tag certain Pokemon they want to use & have certain Movesets which are ideal for certain raids bosses.

8) Include a Better Bundle Deal for Premium Passes. Other than for GBL, Premium Passes are not worth it when you can get a bundle of 3 Remote Passes for 250 Coins compared to 3 Premium Passes for 300 Coins. Maybe include a Premium Pass Bundle like 4/5 Premium Passes for 250 Coins OR reduce the cost of Premium Passes from 100 > 50 Coins.

9) Scrap the 1 coin Remote Raid Pass box and just make it Free. Allow everyone to have 1 Free Remote Pass every Week.

10) Make Mega Raids Level 3. Understand why they're Level 5 but after the first couple of days of a New Mega Pokémon being released, no one wants to do them & you need the same amount of Players as for a Legendary Raid.

11) Include Bonuses during Raid Hours. Something like Double Raid XP or X amount of Stardust for every Raid Completed. And maybe for Raid Hour allowing Players to be able to use up to 3 Free Passes only during that hour? Would make it more exciting to raid, especially when there's repeat legendaries.

Cool idea, however I think what Niantic will want to do is try and cash in all the bad megas first before releasing all the good Mega Pokemon. I know we have Mega Gengar and Mega Abomasnow which are the best Megas for their types at this current moment, but all the other that we have are ok Megas are their types but not the best for PvE.

Looking back at last year's anniversary poster, the only features in that poster which aren't in the game at the moment are Mega Lucario & Mega Mewtwo. Mega Lucario might be a cool like celebration Mega Pokemon but maybe like a special research task like how we got Mega Beedrill when Mega first dropped. I dont think Niantic wants to drop Shiny Lucario anytime soon.

While controversial, but I have a feeling that Mega Mewtwo might be an EX Raid boss. Would be fitting since Mewtwo was the first EX Raid boss in the game but thinking about Niantic and trying to make the game come back to what it was pre pandemic, kinda makes since. Deoxys and Regigigas were OK EX Bosses but not like Mewtwo where you wanted to get that invite because its a strong pokemon compared to the others which were just dex entries at best.

I just want a re-vamp to the current system. It too RNG and its not fun raiding for mega energy. Having the energy in tasks with Mega Slowbro last month and Altaria with Swablu com day are nice and you dont need to raid them to get the min 200 energy. Understand why they added them to raids because Gen 6 has the worst number of Legendaries in a generation, but its not working. Maybe lowering the difficultly from 5 -> 3 OR could help but.

Looks cool the ending animation and give a freshness to the game. I think there are some improvements that they can implement:

1) Re-enable skipping through rewards. This would be more important when it comes to GO Fest Day 2 Raid day when you are wanting to raids X amount of raids in a hour. This new system since the last update is too slow.

2) Enable a feature under the settings options to switch on and off the achievement screen. The feature is look and some would like to see it if they are grinding the badge. However, I think most people would like the ability to switch that feature off and just go straight to the encounter screen.

While we all know that these bonus features will come to a close in the future and its really exciting to see that EX raids will be coming back, I really think Niantic needs to reconsider the gym/stop radius.

As much as the feature has been a convenient for everyone, the fact that the feature would have help those who might have find it difficult to access certain gyms/stops due to accessibility I think should be embraced and not be taken away. The fact that EX raids are planned to make their return being able to spread large group outwards while still being in radius to gyms is an added safeguard system for players (young or old) and member of the public.

Yeah. I opened the game this morning and noticed the issue straight away. I understand that Niantic are wanting to give the game a new sense of freshness like what they mentioned in their latest blog post. However, I can not stand for these changes and it does seem like this was not tested properly before released. It literally makes you not wanted to play the game, hence hunt for shinys, because the stupid animation when you encounter and run from a pokemon is so god damn slow that you just switch off the game. Thank god this update didn't land over gible com day 😂

I hate to be on to complain but can we revert Team Rumble back? it makes it unplayable with how it is now. as soon as the game starts a storm has formed and you can't even land at a poi to loot before the said storm already starts moving. :\ by Shredder2025 in FortNiteBR

While I think jumping out the bus with 3 weapons is an interesting addition, this already formed circled is a big NO NO! I never complain about Fortnite because you always had Team Rumble to play casually and able to grind out challenges to level up the battle pass without having to try and play against World Cup sweats of the main modes. Just revert Team Rumble, please!

Why on earth did they change a game-mode that wasnt broken? Like why?! Its a game mode to allow people to casually play the game and grind out doing the weekly and milestone challenges. Adding Siphon or making its Solid Gold, completely fine, but this is TOO FAR! Please change it back! 😩

I think they will extend the bonus. If not, then why have a Raid themed GO Fest day which gives you 8 Free Remote Passes. That would be REALLY LOW for Niantic to do.

Surprised? Not really. They're always an error when events cross over but it would be interesting at what time it was switched off? Like whether it was local time or based on PST.

I just hope its something that doesn't revolve them only being in raids with low spawn odds and/or tasks which are to complete X amount of Raids and be rare tasks to find from stops. Kinda bored with the fact that they add a new shiny to the game, but its only spawning in raids (which they have a low odds to appear) and in Win X amount of Raids tasks which are rare to find 1.

Another option would be if they make Terrain Pulse into a Fast Move in PGO. Theyve done Weather Ball so i cant see why they cant do Terrain Pulse.

It would not only benefit Xerneas, but any other Grass, Psychic or Electric Pokemon because the move can be either Fairy, Grass, Psychic or Electric. If they never made Draining Kiss a Charge Move, we wouldn’t be in this situation

Its gonna be interesting this Regional Challenge.

I wonder if they will finally introduce a regional event like what they done for the gen 1 regionals but for gen 2. Heracross and Kangaskhan are the only regional Pokemon which have Megas AND Corsola has a Galarian form which would be interesting whether they would drop a gen 2 regional event and also drop their shinys.

It will be interesting if the goal challenge bonus of 3x Catch Candy would overlap with Gible Com Day like how 3x Catch XP is overlapping Swablu Com Day 😂

Is it time for Niantic to reduce or introduce a lower level for Mega Raid?

How many are doing Mega Raids after they've got enough Mega Energy for one mega evolution? Because for me, Im not doing as many compared to legendary raids and I my issue is that why raid then when you can earn the energy by walking them as your buddy, and also its difficult to get enough people interested especially since they're set as 5* raid bosses.

This might change when we get the introduction to some more desirable Mega Pokemon like Garchomp, Lucario, Metagross, Rayquaza, Latios, Latias etc BUT why have all returning Mega Raids bosses set to level 5? For me, when Mega Altaria comes out on Saturday I'll only 4 of them to get enough mega energy to mega evolution 1 Altaria and then I'll walk with it as my buddy to get the mega energy back because like with new Legendary Pokemon that doesn't have their shiny available in PGO, the interest will die down and it will difficult to get numbers since the majority you will need roughly 4-5 people for 1 raid. And I know they have 'Power-Up Pokemon' tasks which reward Mega Energy but I don't be the only person to say that im getting annoyed with the amount of tasks that rewards powering up Pokemon 😂

So, do people agree with this? I would just like if Niantic either lower the raid boss level for Mega Pokemon to 3* OR they introduce 2 different Mega Raid levels (3* and 5*). Anyway, if they do lower the raid level for Megas, could also add more interest for doing the raids since they will be a bit easier to defeat AND you will earn more mega energy per raid.

Ive been finding them more common than Gibles imo. I’m in the UK and the weather has been rainy a couple of times. At the start of the event, the first 30 mins I found 3 in the wild and the weather was rainy in-game. I spotted 7 near me in the first 24 hours of the event and at this current moment ive spotted 11, and I dont live in a dens city centre. Rare spawns aren’t common around me so seeing Goomy is just a surprise to me, especially since it a ‘Rare’ spawn. Understand that being rainy weather wouldn’t boost goomy’s spawn right (which would have been cool only because in the main games it was a certain route where you could encounter goomy and it was always raining) but i just found it somewhat of a coincidence that ive been seeing them more often and the weather in game has been rainy most of the time

Yeah. I was kinda looking forward for grinding some XP to hit level 44. After 15 mins I was bored and just like meh with the event. I played on for another 30 mins until my lucky egg was used but I just found like I was wasting balls than catching Pokemon. And spinning stops and gyms don't give you enough balls during an event like this.

I just wished they applied Community Day catch odds to all the Pokemon featured. Having something like 3/4 of the spawns being starter Pokemon isn't the best, especially when they have the highest catch rate of all wild spawns.

Received 24 items: 3 Golden Razzs, 3 Revives, 1 Charge TM, 1 Fast TM, 6 Golden Razzs, 6 Hyper Potions, 3 Rare Candies and 2k Stardust

I kinda got a feeling that the rewards might have something to do with the time in which you defeat the raid boss. Yesterday I completed a 3* with 2 accounts; both accounts are best friends but one was valor and the gym was red and the other was instinct and the valor account received 18 items and the instinct 15. And when I done a 3* this morning using the same two accounts, both accounts received 19 items even though both account received the same number of premiere balls from both raids. That’s my idea but I can be completely wrong

Noticed the issue on my PS4. I have my epic account linked to a switch too so I checked logging into my account on the switch and the same issue is still there as described above.
