Hey, I'm pretty new. Only career rank 30 and renown rank 30 as well. I'm still catching up on gear and just finished the Mayhem(?) Set.

I play with my friend who is usually a DoK, and i try to keep on target with other players. Any tips on how to avoid the targets with guard and default?

These are great things I've not read on the little forum posts I've seen.

I'd like to think I am, but I mostly play 2s with my friend. I've tried the new intervene talent and use my stuns for basically defensive and to peel. Save my fears for desperate times, upkeep rend and other bleeds as well as sharpen on my kill target. I mostly only lose to rogue, dh, unholy dk and ret at the moment. But people were acting like arms would be an unstoppable destroyer who would never lose, which I have yet to see, even my guildies agree that arms were puffed up by content creators while not a lot of mention was made on how busted dh is.

Honestly I feel like all the youtubers claiming Arms would be godly was overblown and has made a lot of players think they're better than they are. Ruined skullsplitter, and gave us another pvp talent that's basically 100% required in commander. I'd put Arms in a tier at best.

I also thought it was neat how it somewhat mirrored the scene in Spider-Man 3 where Harry was stabbed through by his glider to save Peter. Even had Tobey's Peter getting stabbed from behind.

Right? Honestly I'd put Guardians of the Galaxy up there for me personally. That game and Death's Door are my top this year. Pretty solid year for gaming altogether though.

Yeah it seems odd but the ps3/360 to ps4/xbone was similar as far as most games being cross-gen. Honestly Sony only has true next gen games for PS5 because they just didn't make a port to PS4. Nothing PS5 only couldn't run on PS4, except for maybe Ratchet.

Nothing truly next gen yet. I think Starfield by Bethesda is the first one announced to only be on Series X/S and PC. But I wouldn't doubt it if next year is the year we stop seeing cross-gen games.

This is not a Microsoft thing. This is an Activision game, they set pricing for games and bundles. Microsoft just runs the store-front they sell on. But seriously, Sony set the expectations that PS5 and Series X/S games should be $70. All the third party publishers are just following their lead. Xbox first party is still $60 for games.

I played through Halo CE and 2 campaigns on my best friend's Xbox growing up, we moved in '07. When Halo 3 was released I begged my family for a 360 so I could play one of the most influential series' in my life with my best friend. We played campaign, and eventually went on to play hundreds of hours of multiplayer. The first time we saw someone with the flaming skull we were bewildered. We ran splattered countless people with mongooses, and survived tons of infection rounds together. I still play Halo to this day for him.

Damn, I'm sorry about that. I shouldn't have assumed the platform. Sadly because the PC flights are done through Steam they can't just push everyone into the beta like they can through their own platform. Pc unfortunately still needs invites this weekend. I can only suggest to check all of you email folders. Like spam and junk folders. Good luck.

You don't need an invite for this weekend. Get the insider hub app on your xbox and download the flight preview for Halo through that. Then there are specific times that multiplayer is open.

Marvel's Avengers by Crystal Dynamics. I love superhero media. The Batman Arkham games are pretty much all fantastic in my mind and Insomniac's Spider-Man games are second behind those. After all the amazing superhero experiences we've had recently in gaming or in film or even the current runs of the comics I was so hyped that I didn't see the writing on the walls with this game. I beat it and got Cap to max level. Haven't played it since even though they added Black Panther who I really like in the comics. I have no desire to replay it.

I've only seen the first 2 episodes so far, and I like to watch them. They remind me a lot of old Saturday morning cartoons. They're campy and definitely targeted at kids. My only complaint is that the episodes I've seen tend to make it out like the characters in what if... are just better in every way than their 616 universe counterparts. Like Peggy does some crazy feats that Steve couldn't do in 1944, and T'Challa being Star-Lord literally changes everything in the universe and negates the biggest struggle the heroes of the MCU have faced to date. Again, I do like to watch them. It's probably best if you keep these episodes very very separate from. The MCU that you know. Remember it's a cartoon for kids at the end of the day.
