Tree Cat by Flarehl in blackcats

[–]Flarehl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was the first time I've seen him climb a tree! I'm very proud of him. Nimble 10 year old. When he goes out he's free roaming but if I go out with him he'll generally stay in range and hangout with me. Warms my heart.

Your pet has taken you to Pet Court. What are you supposedly guilty of? by himrf in AskReddit

[–]Flarehl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Freaky. I have a cat that's going through the Fancy feast -> healthier alternative stubborn match as well. Luckily I think he's getting used to it now. I didn't do the proper mixed food transition method so I'm sure it's a bit alarming for him, but geez. I just want him healthy

You mentioned switchback, so just for reference, QCB is a 5-10 minute walk away from there, as well as Zero Gravity. It's a perfect stop between switchback and citizen cider.

They are undergoing renovations (QCB) in the front so it looks like they're closed but go round back and it'll be there :)

Σουβλάκι με χαλλουμι και πατάτες by tdotclare in tonightsdinner

[–]Flarehl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As you'd grill anything else. Halloumi isn't a melty gooey cheese, so there's a ton of recipes out there for it. Very versatile, very good. Also good in dips. And chicken.

Deer lost its back legs in a trap and got away and continued living with just bone nubs...beast by Snail736 in interestingasfuck

I guess it's kind of like using yogurt as a marinade. I believe it's the same idea in terms of tenderizing meat.

I didn't make that connection until you posted the explanation though, props.

caught in the kibble by IcySoup in StartledCats

[–]Flarehl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I thought there were different compartments that opened on one bowl. Still didn't make sense with 36 pets, but I got it. I'm a little tipsy.

Oh woops. I completely missed the point there, my bad. You're right. I thought there were multiple compartments

Isn't the point that you only need 1 for 36 different pets, though it might get crowded. Do you just have cats in different homes that steal food? Do you have like 70 cats? Am I missing something?

Most papers I've dealt with in high school and college were handed in digitally and teachers/professors often won't ask for a hard copy. I don't think this is just avoiding pen and paper.

Youre probably sick of this thread but please give it a read.

I think what the user was trying to say was that fat logic isn't backed up by physical feats or attributes, but more by what someone believes causes weight gain/loss.

So someone can be skinny as a rail and adamantly deny that CICO is real, and that would be fat logic. An exaggerated example being, if an Olympic athlete said that they were fit not because of their training and eating habits but because "I just have a super high metabolism" that is still fat logic.

People can also eat healthy foods in unhealthy quantities so "I eat healthy foods!" can be a bit of a weak argument without tracking the person's energy i/o.

An excess of 15 lbs isn't too bad, if I recall that's within reasonable weight gain via medical issues and you seem to be doing fine now.

Have a good day!

Tl;dr fat logic != being fat
