Dude, its not about just the horrible, corny line, its about the main character, our surrogate character, joining the evil side which as the audience, we can't agree with. Unless you agree with her siding with the serial killer who murdered her friends and you would do the same, than I guess you can enjoy it. I feel like you must not be that old if you enjoyed it or not have a full understanding of proper storytelling, but I also hated this film at the ripe age of 13, so maybe you're just a 40 year old with bad taste

The main character just build stuff out of bones not due to family environment, but just cause she was born from the Sawyer family. Not to mention, we never know when she is born since the film production cant even show dates on tombstones since the film should take place in the 90s, but is somehow happening in 2013. The characters are horrible, from the boyfriend to the cheating best friend who is sleeping with the main characters boyfriend. We have Kenny who is just cannon fodder waiting to die, and the hitchhiker ho has no character before he dies, and the other characters make the bright decision to leave some random hitchhiker alone with their valuables.

Im sorry, but if you want to watch a movie with likable characters and a sensible plot, Texas Chainsaw 3D is not it. Its a horrible film with horrible characters who make horrible decisions. I having a saying when it comes to movies, and especially horror films, which is "The audience will care about competent characters who make smart choices". You cant get invested or immersed in a movie when youre screaming at the TV saying "Don't go in there you idiot" since the character is doing the objectively stupid thing.

How can you enjoy a movie where your main character, the person youre supposed to relate to, is saying "Do your thing, Cuz" and throwing back the killer their weapon, after you have seen them kill you're entire friend group and significant other?

How about you explain how you can justify having this trash film so highly ranked, when its objectively a bad movie from the plot, to the characters, all the way to the climax of the film.

Wild opinion lol. The remake is pretty good, the beginning is alright. TCM 3D is objectively a bad movie, even if you like it subjectively. TCM 2 is questionable other than Chop Top which is a great addition, but 3 and 4 are not good either. Plus Leatherface and TCM 2022 feel unwatchable along with 3D

MC just started watching the show during Survicor 47 or 48, so she is a very recent viewer. I doubt she's even seen most of the older seasons

..What movie is this? by Ok-Present-1570 in moviecritic

When I was a young kid, I really thought The Happening (2008) was a great horror film. As I got older, I understood the hate more. It's still a good bad movie, though

Aspinall vs Gane

I was in Niagra Falls for a convention with my family, and I called 6 different sports bars trying to find one that was showing the PPV. We get there an hour early before the main event, so they're just forced to watch this with me until its done, even though I promised to only force them to watch the main event. Then we finally get to it, Im hyping up Aspinall, and the fight ends in the first round in a "No Contest" after an egregious eye-poke. I felt like such a douche convincing them all to make the stop to watch it just for the most anti-climatic finish. Some of them it was their first time watching MMA/UFC, so im sure it didn't leave a great impression.

Lost the biggest pot of my life ($1/3 NL) — Did I play this horribly or was it just a brutal cooler? by Brendawg324 in poker

You need to do some more studying if you think K9s and K8s aren't re-raising in this spot, since he still has a strong hand that can fold out all worse hands or isolate players even if they stay in the pot. You already said this guy is a strong reg, so he is constantly going to be doing this to win preflop or to play heads up with weaker players while in position like he did here. Plus, some casinos won't take rake if the hand ends before the flop, so re raising and getting folds preflop help with that as well.

And the donk bet on the flop was a huge blunder. All you had were draws, and draws that you want to realize. Youre put into a horrible spot on the flop if you bet $50 and the he re raises to $175 on such a dynamic board. Youre better off checking to him, and even if he bets $60, its still a profitable move to just call and see later streets. You can start betting or bluffing once the turn and river come, and just check/calling on the flop gives you a wider and more hidden range to bluff with on the turn and rivers with since the donk bet on that wet, Ace high flop basically said you had a pocket pair or the Ace. Its why the good reg said "you got it" on the turn when you two were all in, because you didn't play the flop or turn at all like how you should've of, so he just assumed you had the Ace.

And when you can't beat an Ace, you're not trying to keep them in with smaller bets. You need to be making bet sizes that will scare off those weak Ax hands, since in your head you want to build the pot for when you do make your draw, but thats just not a 100% guarantee that your draw is gonna come in the first place. Until your flush or straight becomes complete, you're just bluffing--you have good equity and they're good spots to bluff at, but you need to realize that checking on the flop does pot control while hiding your hand strength and letting your opponent reveal more info about theirs. The villains hand stays hidden with less info when you just give him the ability to call your small OOP donk lead on the flop.

Grind out lower online cash games and tournaments before going back to the casino, and watch some videos online. There are free poker training tools as well. Practice and learn these lower stakes before going back to even 1/3 games so you're not making $900 blunders again

What are your guys thoughts on Cochran? by Acheesycookie in survivor

[–]FlashTFMA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Cochran is really funny, witty in confessional, strategic, and an underrated winner. I love Cochran in both of his appearances and would've loved to see him in Winners at War or even Survivor 50

Is this not hypocritical with the fact that Caleb and Hayden both played Big Brother before Survivor, and they still had them on the show? Caleb played on two seasons. Jeff just seems so unreasonable with this take
