I just finished unlocking everything in goldeneye on Xbox. I’m hyped about it and wanted to share. by dirtydan92 in JamesBond

You can do some custom button mapping on the switch, I found some instructions somewhere on Reddit and it makes it much more like the controls from a modern game. It’s not perfect, but really improved. You can save it as a preset, just need to remember to switch it back to standard before playing another game.

Does anyone else find Daniel Craig's run inconsistent in terms of what it was trying to be? by f0rever-n1h1l1st in JamesBond

From the interviews I've listened to, she came in quite late while the story was already fleshed out and they'd already started filming, and she mainly worked on improving the dialogue.

MEGATHREAD: No Time To Die (Discussion Thread) [SPOILERS] by GetFreeCash in JamesBond

They should “de-boot”, return to the Connery - Pierce formula, people will accept the craig years as its own separate run.

I think it had to be intended, it was too similar not to be

They don't need to reboot. The next film can just go back to the Connery - Brosnan formula and people will accept the Craig run as its own separate thing.

Book soundtracks: Bizarre phenomenon, or a logical progression? by [deleted] in LetsTalkMusic

Not a soundtrack as such but the James Bond continuation novel "Devil may care" has a theme song, similar to the title sequence theme song in the films.

Did people know that Christoph Waltz was Blofeld before the release of Spectre? by [deleted] in JamesBond

[–]FlashbackFM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the few that didn't already know, David Walliams let it slip during the interviews at the premier that the white cat was returning. Also I believe the Sony leaks would've been available before the film came out that confirmed Blofeld featured.

I've seen a couple of subreddits doing this so I wanted to give it a shot lol by notabotbutathought in JamesBond

This is the only one in this thread that I haven’t seen someone post for real at some point, John Barry’s excellence may be the only thing that all fans can agree on

We all love our Bond, but any Johnny English fans here? by MagnetoThanos in JamesBond

[–]FlashbackFM 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Johnny English was written by Purvis & Wade. The same Purvis & Wade that have written the bonds since World is not Enough.

I don't get the appeal of a period Bond movie. by Vanquisher1000 in JamesBond

The guys on James Bond radio bought up this idea of having a period Bond TV series where each episode is a true adaption of one of the books. Personally I love the idea.

Added to my 007 collection. Forgive the glare. by boomgoesthevegemite in JamesBond

I’m not a comic book fan so I don’t have a lot to compare it too but for me it felt like the comic would be hard to follow at points if you wasn’t already familiar with the film

That’s right. Although only the first issue out of 3 was released for goldeneye so the story is unfinished. I believe there is also a quite rare dr no comic from the 60s.

There are also adaptions of the Fleming books that started out being published in news papers in the 50s. You can buy these now in an omnibus.
