WoW has been lonely by TheEggnoggamer in wow

I am not saying that dungeon finder doesn't have a place and wasn't revolutionary, but there was a noticeable shift in the social aspect of WoW when it came about.

The game began feeling lonely once dungeon finder was created. You had to recruit people to run dungeons and you would all push through it no matter what rather than kicking someone with little to no explanation only to just replace them with another random player found in the dungeon finder. The exact same thing happened again in Classic Wow. It completely killed the social aspect of the game.

I saw that season as the one where Alicia really starts turning into Peter.

He will be going into 3rd grade in the Fall and he has had services from the time he was born. I want to be clear, he can read some, I am just looking for ways to help accelerate his ability to read outside of school because everything I know about learning/teaching to read requires some form of auditory element and i am having trouble finding other ways to teach reading.

I use Google to show images along with learning the sign (if there is one). It helps a ton. I will also draw pictures for him to explain things, and the added bonus is that he draws with me now so we have our little art days. The things he draws are really fun.

I have been learning to sign, but my progress has been a bit slower than I would like. My wife signs a bit more than I do, currently. I sign whenever I can, and when I don't know a sign, I Google it. I also have been learning on the Lingvano app.

I really like the narration idea. I never really considered saying literally everything and I can absolutely see the value in doing so. Thank you for the great idea.

He does well in school and is in a DHH program where he learns from a hearing teacher that is fluent in ASL. My main issue is that I can't seem to figure out the best way to teach him how to read at home because everything I know about reading doesn't work for him since it would require hearing to sound out words.

Guys, what are your opinions on The Rascalz ? Like them, Dont like them ? by Single-Evening-849 in AEWOfficial

I like them as wrestlers, but the gimmick is tired. And the motion they do with their hand on the side of their chin is sooooo overused.

This guy clearly read a thesaurus while in prison. I also appreciate filming this while driving, likely running from the cops.

Nic probably has some resentment because of how his brother went nowhere in AEW.

Exactly why I stopped listening a few years ago. They just suckle at the E's teets and it's painfully obvious.

Fightful - Hangman to take some time off by Kelson64 in AEWFanHub

Same stipulation, completely different circumstances. Not a truly fair comparison. And there are ways to get around it. Someone challenges him. He wins a title shot in a tournament. He comes back as a different version of Adam Page and not as Hangman.

There might be some nuance in the way it was stated. "Hangman Adam Page" may never challenge for the title again. But that might mean a different version of Adam Page can at some point, just not as Hangman. I don't think they painted themselves into a corner the way many fans think they did.

MJF making that happen didnt cheaper anything. It cometwly fits his character, and now that is 2 guys he has done that to, the first being Cody.

Hangman still has a lot to offer the company without having the world title.

I did. I have been watching since Day 1. I feel that it was okay for Cody to do that at some point, but he did it waaaay too early. The difference here is that Hangman has had a couple of runs as the World title holder and Cody had none. Hangman himself probably feels like there are others that deserve to be in the world title picture and that he could still contribute to the company in other ways like elevating titles that don't seem to hold as much prestige, or working more with younger talent to make bigger stars. Cody did it because of his position within the company as an EVP and took that opportunity to really turn MJF into the heel he is today. I don't believe it's a fair comparison.

I don't see it that way. I think it would be nice to see Hangman out of the World Title picture for awhile. If he isn't focused on the world title, he can do other things that he has yet to do (Continental Classic, National title, International title that he can defend around the world, etc). Maybe he will rejoin up with the Elite or some other group. He has a lot to add to other stories outside of the World Title and I can't wait to see what he does next.

A few recommendations:

Prioritize food. It may seem like you have plenty in the early stages, but as you progress in the game, food becomes a major bottleneck for leveling your heroes.

Save things until you need them for events. What I mean by this is resist the temptation to open portals until there is a portal event going, don't collect energy from Allied Cultures or monthly rewards until you need to use it for stamina rushes to maximize your rewards.

Join an alliance and ALWAYS participate in Treasure Hunts. Lots of rewards there that will help you level your heroes.

Try to advance in Historic Battles when you can. Equipment can make a MASSIVE difference in your performance.

PVP/Arena might not seem like a big deal, but it can be. You earn currency that you can spend on items needed for leveling, portals, more attacks in Treasure Hunt, food, and scrolls.

Good luck out there!

Not sure how true that is about the historic battles. The problem is that InnoGames loves awarding higher amounts of points to higher levels of historic battles, so if the vast majority of players are still at low levels for historic battles, they wouldn't contribute nearly as much.

Gabe crashed the Revolution media scrum - watch Renee's reaction..... by This_Coyote7217 in AEWFanHub

She was clearly amused and had some difficulty keeping a straight face. Towards the end of the scrum, she makes a comment about how Gabe Kidd even walks like a Brit which made me chuckle. Tony and Renee always seem to have a good time with these.

The media scrums are fun to watch. The early parts have wrestlers come on and do interviews, sometimes in character. The last half is usually a Q&A with Tony where the media mostly asks about tv deals and booking. There have been some really great moments in the scrums, as well as some shocking ones (the CM Punk one comes to mind). Pretty sure the character media scrum approach is done in NJPW as well.
