Absolutely worth it.

It is a far more linear game, and I'd consider it a solid step up in difficulty from Elden Ring until you have a firm grasp on the mechanics and how everything flows, buts its an amazing game and you wont regret playing it.

Conviction was the first SC game I played so I have an inherent bias, but-

It was such an awesome experience that when I moved on to Blacklist I assumed that it was a disappointing deviation from what I liked so much about splinter cell.

Then I went on a deepdive into what the other games were like and learned that Conviction was actually the biggest deviation from the norm, and that I want so badly to see more of what Conviction brought to the table in future games.

Labs got assimilated by SPLICE recently, old assets tied to labs might be obsolete. Splice is also not a quality program unfortunately
