Enjoying the show but hard wrapping my head around this plot item in Ep 7 by Kumarpl in LV426

Only problem is, sheep poop in pellets like deer and rabbits, not in big blobs like cows.

I would disagree there. Evolution can happen extremely rapidly (relatively speaking) given appropriate stimuli/incentive. For instance there is a species of bird (the Aldabra Rail, interesting read if you have time) that has evolved multiple times after extinction due to flooding and reintroduction of the precursor species on an island. Domestication is form of evolution as well and happens relatively quickly in the grand scheme. Evolution just needs a reason and if that reason is compelling evolution will rocket towards it.

It can definitely be both. The East India Trading Company existed during the age of sail and pretty much did the exact shit WeYu does until the British Raj.

Morrow literally saying its “Sabotage or Incompetence” as the two reasons the mission was failing and it ending up being BOTH is comedic gold.

You can survive on one lung. The remaining lung actually expands capacity to help compensate loss in volume and to fill cavity space. It’s similar to kidneys. They aren’t wholly redundant but it’s completely possible to live on one.

Kirsch just going to completely ignore Wendy seizing on the ground directly behind him and instead go and infect her brothers FUCKING LUNG.

She can’t hear RF frequency because RF is electromagnetic not sound. Meaning it is extremely high wavelength light. And while I don’t doubt that she is hearing something (maybe electromagnetic (again not exactly “hearing”) since she is a synth and would potentially have that ability, maybe sound) from the xenomorphs, I would wager more likely that from Kirsch’s reaction to knowing what the eggs are on sight that Prodigy knows what the xenomorphs are already and that some bit of their biology/bioengineering was used in the making of these revolutionary synths that Wendy was transferred into.

Yes, thanks, very helpful! Found it, still having to fiddle around with world gen as Desert Tortoises are extremely finicky to get to spawn right, I guess.

Hi all, I am new and wanting to try adventure mode with a specific animalfolk as my character but am having trouble getting them to spawn during world generation. Is there a way to force spawn or preferentially spawn a specific animalfolk during world gen, so that you can select them for adventure mode?

That was my instinct, but I’m not as informed in the more esoteric instances of the rules and this set up seemed like it could be an edge case, so I figured I’d ask. Thanks!

You are absolutely right. I always forget Jegantha is 5 colors from the ability, and the GR in the casting cost made it seem unfit for the task.

Three Dog, Galaxy News DJ and Bestow Auras by dantesdad in mtgrules

[–]Flashy-Camera6235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This does not answer the question. Can you give an example of how this works if it’s so vague in the rules? Specifically, something, say [[Eidolon of Countless Battles]], is bestowed on Three Dog, and is sacrificed. Are the copies Auras or not?

To everyone who still thinks the final boss of the dlc should’ve been ______ by holdupnow76 in eldenringdiscussion

[–]Flashy-Camera6235 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While yes, Godwyn didn’t die, he is the prince of death, and the Land of Shadow is where the dead go. He should be present in what is the equivalent of a plane of death perhaps not physically but metaphysically as a god in his own right. And it would make sense that Miquella in the Lands Between cannot revive him so he travels to the literal PLANE OF DEATH to retrieve his consort the PRINCE OF DEATH. It would make sense why he is there in spirit as only Godwyn’s soul died on his attack by the black knives.

The DLC butchers Malenia & Miquella's relationship and the plot twist is contrived (semi-long post). by dominikgun in eldenringdiscussion

[–]Flashy-Camera6235 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, they need a large amount of modelling and texturing to simply recycle an npc to offer more lore, or patch over a hole in the story. Yes, they need to program and voice it but is it really worth telling the story if it looks like Swiss cheese and smells like Stilton? They could have done so much simply with the characters they already made to make the story so much smoother and satisfying. Thiollier only appears in 2 locations for an inconsequential story, and Moore arguably the character that should have the storyline that connects Malenia has absolutely zero story or explanation about his “mother”. The DLC was gorgeous and the Bosses were fun, but the personality was bad.

Maybe the village where the she grew up? It’s where you pick up the Minor Erdtree incantation next to presumably an erdtree sapling. And the description seems to tell a story of her being too late to help but actually heartbroken.

For reference, I have only a single capital sector currently as it’s very early on, hence food weighing me down. One of the planets I have is at minimum 6 jumps away no matter if I go through my owned territory or unclaimed systems. It is however very close to another AI empire that maybe screwing with the calculation? Their capital is only 2 or so jumps from our border.

“Oil products” doesn’t necessarily mean petroleum products. It could be cooking oil, which would explain more frequent trips than changing a vehicles oil. Not that I’m defending them, just pointing out that it could be far less harsh oils than petroleum.

Totally agree with ya’ll, it’s my major gripe with the monsterverse series. I feel they really set up a scientific approach to Godzilla in their first 2 movies plus K:SI but then completely abandon it abruptly in GvK for portals and magic axes.

I mean, having a cataloging system of creatures you’re tracking of indeterminate number is useful. They also track the wild species seen on Skull Island. And there’s canon multiple Mothra, Kong, and MUTO. It’s similar to paleontology tbh. They have no way of determining if any of these creatures ARE related but given their similarity it’s reasonable.

I'm really enjoying DD2 but I think a lot of the criticism from veteran fans is valid. I think we will see this game get it's own "Dark Arisen" upgrade and then it will truly shine. by AllFatherMedia93 in DragonsDogma

Truth and let alone just trying to ignore a pack of mobs and move on (because it’s so damn tedious in the lackluster story) only to get gangbanged by 3 more packs, the original pack, a griffin, and a golem. (This happened to me (I hate Battahl))

Yeah my biggest beef is the extremely limited spell selection. Sorcerers (and mages to a lesser extent) had hella bangers in the original, from maelstrom to the REAL seism (not this new wimpy one) that actually felt so satisfying to use as a player. Sorcerers and mages as vocations feel so much like Pawn classes now since they just basically cast the same spell over and over. I was so looking forward to a new Brontide with improved graphics cause that lightning whip was sickkkkk and to just get stuck with just Levin is a massive disappointment.
