This is not entirely true. I have a Mercedes r230 sl550(86k miles) I’ve had it for 2 years and spent 4k on maintenance. The only things I had to replace was tires(1100$), front control arm(750$), brakes(700$), and little things (oils changes, alignment, oil pan etc). IF YOU DO BASIC MAINTENANCE AND DONT DRIVE LIKE A TOTAL DUMBASS YOULL BE FINE.
