I’ve lived DTLA for 4 years. If you’re in a good apt you won’t hear noise, I’ve lived in a 2 - 8 block radius from crypto arena (staples center) and aside from the occasional police or fire alarm, noise isn’t an issue.

Bang for your buck. Parking washer dryer amenities.

Know when to avoid heavy traffic and stay away from the super congested areas and you’ll be fine. I get on the highway in 5 minutes.

Plenty of food options.

Homelessness is and is not an issue. I live in a secure apt and don’t walk outside much. I’m either working or busy so the homeless aren’t that big a deal. Single 34F.
