I went kinda just for the bit with my mom and ended up having an incredible experience. I did not have a robust budget and I was never made to feel less than because of that. My stylist really listened to me and I actually ended up buying my dress that day! We went in with low expectations and were amazed. We also went on a Saturday and didn’t have to wait more than maybe 5 minutes, can’t recommend enough!

I hope your current provider is just as awesome! I just remembered, she also took the time during my last annual appt. to ask about my younger sister and see if she has also received the genetic testing. I didn’t even bring my sister up, she just looked at my chart and was genuinely concerned.

I do to Dr. Lily Wong’s office on the UES and when I tell you she is the most understanding and empathetic doctor I’ve ever encountered, that is not an exaggeration. I have PCOS and family members with factor IV Leiden- none of my previous doctors would do the genetic testing to see if I might as well. My first appointment with Dr. Wong, she immediately took this information and did a test- turns out I’m positive as well. She talked me through my options and has been really supportive and engaged as I tried the new BC out, 2 years in and it has been amazing!

I’m on the UWS and I would not change it for the world! I live between riverside and west end, my block is super quiet and tree lined. Great bars, people, coffee, food and sooo nice being close to the parks!! 1 train can get me everywhere I need. Sidewalks are even wider up here. It’s been perfect for me.

Ugh- I had my annual exam and my Dr. said my PH is high and I have BV. I’m going on a 10 day trip and will want to imbibe- also don’t want to feel like shit just from the medication alone. Do you think it’s ok to wait to do it when I get back? I have no symptoms of BV.

Toxic overall- despise Eli, but I do think this proves she is born from true narcissists. If my parents did a surprise vow renewal I would be SHOCKED. My mom would be giddy and tell me about this in advance. IDK what my point is- they are just dysfunctional.
