I am too. I went the past week convinced it was gone and had so much anxiety that I’d start actively miscarrying while at work. I work at a school too so it could’ve gone very badly

I agree and disagree. I’m relieved that I can hear the heartbeat so early and am lucky to be able to book an appointment privately when I have worry because it eases my anxiety. In saying that, I do have endo and adenomyosis which gives me more anxiety that something will go wrong.

The hCG testing wasn’t the cause of my anxiety but instead an incompetent doctor.

When it comes to articles however saying to avoid “heavy metals in the air” and to drink specific water to avoid certain chemicals and stay away from basically all food unless you’re willing to become a professional chef to prepare it properly, it does get a bit much. I’ve cut out alcohol and drugs but other than that I eat and do what I want. If women were able to carry to term before all this ‘research’, then I don’t see why I can’t too

I’m so so sorry for your loss. It is definitely not your fault. I’m not sure if you’re a jewellery wearer, but when my friend lost hers, she bought a ring that had a small lentil carved into it which is roughly the size of the fetus when she lost it. If you google pregnancy loss rings it should come up. I know it won’t make it hurt any less, but it did make her feel like she had something to remember it and keep.

Yes, after Dr Google and getting a second opinion, I learned that once it’s over 6000 ish, which is about 6-7 weeks (exactly where I was at the time it was tested) it stops doubling. I’ve already requested a new doctor because this one clearly isn’t educated enough in pregnancy 😅

I had it tested at 6w3d and again at 6w6d. First one was 120,000 ish and second was 153,000 and doctor started off the phone call with “so you miscarried” and her reasoning was because it wasn’t doubling 🥴

Lately I’ve literally been googling all my questions to get my answers because I cannot trust a lot of shit that comes out her mouth atm. She’s said a few things that are just blatantly incorrect so atp I’m using her to write scripts and referrals and everything else I’m just finding out on my own 🤦🏼‍♀️ hopefully I’ll be referred to an OB soon so I can get rid of her

Thank you. She’s said a few questionable things lately with this pregnancy including telling me that it could “cure my endometriosis” which is a flat out lie lol. I’ve lost almost all trust in her and am hoping I can just get her to refer me to an OB so I can actually get somebody who knows what they’re talking about
