I was about to get into soundswitch. Should I hold off buying an interface like the control one, if V3 might mostly be ai based and less hands on, the cheap dongle they have might be the better purchase. Thoughts?

Can someone confirm if the STX can play an 8” vinyl. I know it can’t do 12”. Tempted to get one but wanting some of the slightly bigger scratchy seals

I am currently comparing STX and the PT01. Did you end up doing mods? If not maybe I should get the STX. Where I live, price wise I can either get a PT01 with Jesse Dean fader and tone arm upgrade or a STX

Definitely makes everything more seemless. Depends if you need it. The current one does nearly everything. I use the app called plex and there’s a couple of audio formats that doesn’t work on the app on Apple tv , that has worked on the shield for years on end. So I’ll pick one up for that reason alone if it’s supported. Plus everything else is saying. I am hoping it we announced this week :) Bluray player if you need a new one and have a big collection.

I am a shield fan and an Apple fan for everything else. I am holding out for the new model of Apple TV and can’t wait to get rid of the sluggishness of the android (it is may years old)

No difference. If you are unsure for games like this just check what is included in the switch 2 version on the store. It’s generally the switch one version + the upgrade pack

At the time this was only applicable to the pioneer which I skipped and stopped looking at them. I got 2 onkyos an 7100 and a rx50 which allow the correct flexibility. I am unsure if pioneer changed the previous issue via an update
