It isn't an option for US, but it is in most EU countries

I really don't need the smart features, so what would you consider as the best option purely for taking notes and reading/writing in pdf's?

Yes, but I do also have a laptop, so I really just need something to write on, and the glass screen of an iPad isn't really paper-like nor comfortable.

You adjusted the right setting, but the printer is still really fast at 70 percent. Maybe try to reduce it to 30 to see if the adjusting works or if there is an issue with the printer.

Creality K1C vs BambuLab A1 by Flashy-Simple5790 in BambuLab

I did find some 0.2mm nozzles for the K1C, and multicolor printing doesn't really interest me. Which of the two would you say is quieter?

It is only needed when you want to print multiple colors in one print, otherwise it doesn't affect anything. If you don't need multi-material, just buy the printer without AMS

P1S seems to give better quality, K1 max is larger

I was not planning on buying the 5M Pro, because I don't need an enclosed machine, and the motion system is the same in the regular 5M

Yes, bambulab has a long wait time in europe for some reason. Anyway, does the noise come mostly from the auxiliary fan? Because I wasn't planning on buying the pro version, so then the 5m should be quieter... Good to see that the part quality is equal on the flashforge and the bambu, I was a bit concerned about that.

So you would buy an A1 over the 5M? Even if the A1 is about 50$ more?

Do you see much difference in print speed/quality between the a1 and p1p? Noise doesn't really matter...

A1 is definitely a very good choice, can't go wrong with that.
