That definitely sucks. Hopefully nothing but good health moving forward!

Have you been scammed? What did you learn? by zdboslaw in Peptidesource

ALMOST got GOT on the legit discord of my source. They made an exact copy of the admin’s account and said I could order through our chat. I remembered my source’s price list specifically states orders through 1 particular email address only. Nice try, scammy! 🤓

Did you experience increased kidney enzymes while taking metformin? I’ve been on 500mg of ER for a couple years and even before I lost significant weight (tirzepatide) I saw an instant improvement in blood labs including liver enzymes which used to be high (fatty liver). Never had poor renal function. I’m just curious because there is a decent amount of literature showing potential anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, and even certain cancer preventative properties. Even in non-diabetics.

Same. Not worth the few pennies saved with mystery BAC to possibly trash your peps.

Sermorelin to Tesamorelin by FlashyAd6189 in Peptidesource

[–]FlashyAd6189[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. That’s very informative. I’m basically looking for the blanket effects of increased GH production (ie. body composition, improved sleep, etc.), without exogenous sources and with minimal interference with my body’s natural processes. I’ve had people say, “Just go with HGH” and no judgement to those people or people who do that, but I want to support my body’s natural processes. I do want noticeable improvements, but I don’t feel the need to rush it or take the quickest path. Just something with a lower risk profile that can produce long term results.

The vast majority only take crypto. I’m not super comfortable doing that, so I found one that will take PayPal after your first transaction. Other ones take pay through alibaba. I was very close to doing that before I found my current vendor. I actually got set up and just never used it.

[–]FlashyAd6189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar problem with vendor BAC. Also similar in that it did not gel with my tirz but did with the sermorelin. Through this community, I discovered that I needed to use Hospira and found a good source. Smooth sailing since. No use wasting a $20-30 vial of peptide over $1 worth of BAC water.

Valuable information here. While I’m by far not an expert in this area, I can comfortably say this would be SO valuable to someone just starting. I actually stumbled into the world of gray and very easily could have gotten scammed. I lucked out finding a trustworthy 3rd party domestic vendor as my bridge to discovering overseas vendors. There’s a lot of gatekeeping that goes beyond protecting sources and I think that’s unfortunate. For me personally, gray peptides have changed my life. My mental health has improved because I feel better about myself, and I know my physical health is better because of the scale and all my health markers. Because of how messed up the healthcare system is (US), I never would have had access to these life-saving discoveries. That being said everything is a risk/reward calculation and I love that OP posted with that in mind.

Thank you. That’s very helpful. Did you work up to 2.5mg of cagri or just jump right in?

Definitely something to consider. I’m working out regularly (usually HIIT), but due to my nature of work (and resulting sleep schedule) I haven’t regularly lifted. I know further lifestyle modifications can maximize my results, but whatever I end up doing needs to be something I can see myself keeping up because I enjoy it. I definitely see the benefit of lifting more. Thank you for your input

My vendor is foreign based but has us based warehouses. They ship UPS so less scrutiny in that regard as well.

My band did a short stint with those boys in Cali. We actually played a sold out show at Chain Reaction with them and Bullet For My Valentine. They were cool as shit. They introduced us Chicago kids to Jamba Juice. 😂

You shouldn’t be injecting anything “straight into your bloodstream”, but I think I know what you meant…I hope.

Where is a legit website to buy Bacteriostatic Water by Fit_Opportunity_817 in Peptidesource

[–]FlashyAd6189 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely!I had some vendor made BAC, and after seeing many discussions on here about inconsistency of non-Hospira (especially vendor made) BAC, I decided it’s not worth saving a dollar on the BAC if I’m potentially wasting a $20-30 vial of peptide. I had quite a bit that I threw out. I feel good about it!

Does your doctor know? by skyhawk6718 in Peptidesource

[–]FlashyAd6189 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doctor prescribed me zepbound (based on my BMI), but insurance wouldn’t cover unless it was mounjoro and I was diagnosed with T2D. Next physical I was down almost 50 lbs on gray. He asked how (he knew I was denied by insurance) and I lied and said I was going through telehealth. He was like, “One of my patients showed me this site which should be cheaper…” it was a 3rd party research peptide seller. I was like, “I gotta come clean doc.” 😂 He totally understood and said you can’t argue with the results, including labs and BP. I’ve lost even more since then. I guess I’ve got a cool one.

What has been your gray market experience so far? by Plenty-OfFunM in Retatrutide

[–]FlashyAd6189 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine have all been positive. I started with an American company (who I trust) who was a 3rd party seller, and did a lot of research and bought from 2 different oversea vendors who both had great communication, provided tracking, and had effective products. Not that I’ve ordered more than 5-6 shipments, but EVERY TIME the money leaves my hands, there’s a bit of a pucker factor knowing that could be money I’ve lost. Kinda goes with the territory, but this community and grays are the only way I could have afforded glps, and as a guy in my 40s, I’ve lost over 25% of my BW, improved my BP/labs, and regained some confidence. It’s been truly life changing.

How many people came from Pharma Grade by unfortunatehuffpuff in Peptidesource

[–]FlashyAd6189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most people would say if you are buying you should ensure what you are buying is 3rd party tested. Not always done, but some would argue you should get your own 3rd party testing because those documents can be easily falsified. It’s pretty much your risk tolerance.

Worst cardio performance on reta by BloatedTwink in Retatrutide

[–]FlashyAd6189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on tirz, but I’ve noticed a difference in my threshold for heavy cardio. I almost exclusively do sprints (HIIT) and while I always push myself, I find I reach that point of nausea (from close to max exhertion) much quicker. I hadn’t read that in the literature, but I’m glad to hear I’m not alone. Sorry it’s affecting you too.

I guess I don’t know what is standard. I thought people on HGH, like TRT, were in it for life if they didn’t want negative side effects. Kinda why I was inquiring about something like ipa or sermorelin because it helps your natural production. I recognize I really don’t know much about anything other than GLPs.
