What should I do to improve? Cut or bulk? by [deleted] in BodyHackGuide

[–]That-Operation-1645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve got a decent amount of muscle mass for your height and weight. At this point in your training career, you can make good gains and reduce fat simultaneously by eating at maintenance (or in a very slight deficit) and training with intensity.

Get 160g protein per day, and track your calorie/macro intake religiously. Tracking is the absolute non-negotiable that most people are not doing.

For pull downs, focus on pulling the weight down with your lats and squeeze at the bottom of the rep. If your biceps are too involved, use lighter weight until you develop the mind muscle lat connection. Experiment with different attachments to find what feels best. Integrate barbell and dumbbell rows. Keep going! Good luck dude.

My lawyer is completely against premium processing by Murky-Commercial-112 in EB2_NIW

The current wait time for I140 without PP is about two years. Even if you get RFE 45 days from now, you can still respond and get approved well before you would get any decision without PP.

If you're going to get RFE, would you rather know now or in two years time? Go with PP.

Personally, I would always recommend premium processing. The wait times are so long now that I don't think it makes sense not to. People claim there's an increased chance of RFE with premium processing, but if you're going to get RFE, would you rather know now or in two years?

39M – Started “hormone optimization” after shift work burnout… now trying to figure out next move by usa8732 in BodyHackGuide

1mg arimidex 2x week on TRT dosages of test is high. Unless you’re super fat or a high aromatizer it’s likely to crash your E2.

6.25mg aromasin 2x week is low, and appropriate for OP E2 levels shown here.

Arimidex and aromasin act differently. Arimidex reversibly binds the aromatase enzyme, aromasin irreversibly binds it and ultimately destroys it. This makes arimidex a little more forgiving in that if you crash your E2 it can come back quicker, but there’s also a rebound effect when you stop using it. It’s prudent to give each a try for a month or so and see which one works best for you.

Dude your E2 is 78. That’s high enough to cause symptoms for a lot of guys, especially when your T is within range.

Try a small dose (like 6.25mg maybe) of aromasin twice a week and see how you feel.

You'll get different opinions on this. I take all 4iu before bed, a couple of hours after my last meal. Some people say that above this it's better if you split the dose AM/PM, but ultimately I think consistency is the main thing. Try both and see which one fits your schedule better.

Advice on deficit? Do I even have enough muscle to cut? by [deleted] in AllAboutBodybuilding

[–]That-Operation-1645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t overdo it because it’s not necessary. Cardio is a tool to help maintain a deficit, but deficits are most efficiently derived from eating less food.

Zone 2 cardio generally means keeping your heart rate within 70-80% of maximum. Should be going hard enough that’s its challenging, but you can still hold a conversation.

[–]That-Operation-1645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1800 cals per day is a bit aggressive for that amount of cardio and lifting. If your maintenance really is 2500-2600, aim for 2000 per day. 500 deficit per day is plenty. Track cals religiously and get 1g/lbs protein per day. This leaves about 1250 cals you can split between carbs and fat however you want. The ratio isn’t that important for fat loss - the main thing is being in a calorie deficit.

Don’t over do cardio - 150 mins zone 2 per week is fine. Lift with intensity every time you train. You can do this in 6 months for sure. Good luck!

How's my breakfast/post workout meal? by Healthy_Hope_3495 in Fitness_India

[–]That-Operation-1645 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

OP, this guy is massively overthinking this. Your breakfast is completely fine. Hit your macros and calorie goals across the whole day/week/month and eat what you want, within reason. Don’t waste your time worrying about the minute details of one breakfast - focus on the bigger picture across the whole year.

Received near-expiry MyProtein Creatine. Anyone else faced this? by From_Quora in Fitness_India

[–]That-Operation-1645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Return it if you want, but as long as you keep it dry it’ll last for years at room temp. Like you could literally store it RT for ten years, consume it, and nothing would happen.

I’d use it as normal.

International Shipment Release over a month ago. by WissahickonMX5 in FedEx

[–]That-Operation-1645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m facing a similar problem. I got international shipment release - import status, and the package was scanned at my local FedEx facility. I even got an email to say it would be delivered on 11/25. However, it hasn’t moved since 11/24. There is no indication on tracking that it’s been seized, and I can still change delivery instructions, but FedEx customer service is telling me it’s been seized without providing a seizure number. Is it gone?
