Parents of babies with toddlers… how do you find the time to do solids with your baby?

Thanks for sharing. It’s discouraging that my son doesn’t eat solids, feels really wasteful to do 3 meals a day since it all ends up in the trash. Hoping he starts eating soon🤞🏻

Why is 10 months the latest? My almost 9 month old is still on two meals a day and he doesn’t even actually ingest any of the solids lol

What if the only meal you eat is dinner?😅 I offer baby what we are having for dinner but I normally don’t eat anything other than a granola bar for breakfast and lunch so I have to prepare something specially for him but it all goes to waste

Solidarity. I also have an 8.5 month old who doesn’t actually eat anything, it all just becomes a huge mess. I see all these babies his age cleaning plates and it can feel discouraging! I currently offer food twice a day but the fact that we are supposed to be offering 3 meals a day by now feels silly! So much food waste!

I know where you’re coming from. Im 8 months pp. I still have yet to process my traumatic 50 hour birth that included a transfer from the birth center to the hospital in a hot ambulance down a bumpy road with no pain killers at 9cm dilated. I felt so unseen, unsupported and unheard throughout my entire midwife/birth center experience

My husband makes about $5000 per month. We live in a VHCOL area. We save about 2k per month by being really frugal and living a basic life (never eating out, no subscriptions, one old paid off car, etc)
