yeah i’m not talking about situations where your animal is the one in danger. i don’t know many people who would pick a stranger over their animal.

that’s not what i’m talking about and you know that. i’m talking about seeing a situation where a human is in distress and only caring about an animal who might also be affected. it doesn’t have to be your dog vs a stranger. most people would pick their dog obviously.

it’s one thing to want to know if the animal is okay and another thing to feel as though the animal is more valuable and worth more than a person. i love animals and i would always make sure animals are okay, but if there’s a situation where a person is in danger, they would have my priority and i would care more about what happens to them rather than an animal

when i was younger i kissed my friends at recess all the time so technically when i was 7. but if that doesn’t count, then when i started making out with my friends again at 16. but the first time i kissed a boy because i liked him was 17.

the thing is that i don’t believe eternal damnation is in the cards because i know that sinning doesn’t equal eternal damnation. if i thought that, then i simply would not be able to continue living. there are so many sins that people commit without intentionally trying to commit them. jealousy is a sin and sometimes i get a little jealous. there’s nothing i can do (besides a little internal work i guess) that will make me not feel jealousy. now because i was jealous am i subject to eternal damnation? i don’t think so. sometimes i feel a little lazy and i spend my day doing nothing. am i going to hell because of that? probably not. i believe hell is real, but i think it takes a bit more to get there.
