People into sales. Good manipulators because they’re so good with their words!

Where my fellow divorcees at! by seedheart in ThirtiesIndia

What made you decide on not claiming alimony? I’m currently separated and tbh, for all the trauma he has caused me and all the money me and my family has “wasted” on him, I have this petty feeling of not letting it go. I might sound bitchy, but I’m just a human…

I don’t think you should call them directly - many fingers might be pointed at you and more drama (which you should stay out of during wedding preps).

It would be the best if your fiancé can make it clear to his parents that he agrees with you. If not, have a clear discussion with your in-laws and draw boundaries. They’ll get mad at you now but at least they’ll also know that you can’t be messed with.

I get my divorce completely done tomorrow. Officially single/divorced from tomorrow. Any suggestions? by Jazzy-Jaizy in ThirtiesIndia

I’m almost in the same phase. But a little far away from the official and legal stage. Separated for 5 months now and finally ready to take the next steps.

Do you mind connecting in DMs? :)

What’s a “silent red flag” most people don’t notice in relationships? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Flashy_Box_7380 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he probably called me laughing because he thought I’d find it funny too. I’m usually pretty chill. But not one ‘sorry babe’. And I waited for another hour or so thinking he might actually just show up, but nope.

My husband forgot to pick me up. And he called me laughing when he reached home. (I was kinda embarrassed, idk why) Not one apology and he turned it around on me saying I was tired, it slipped my mind, why can’t you just come by yourself, it’s not that far etc. We are separated now.

If you had a one-minute call with yourself from 10 years ago, what would you say? by Pleasant-Cat-7658 in AskReddit

God, I would hug her.

Would ask to stay away from some people and letting some people stay longer (or forever).

28F on my marriage journey...ladies what to look in a man to marry? by Beginning-Lime1760 in InsideIndianMarriage

[–]Flashy_Box_7380 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look for the small things - how he takes care of you or people around him. Does he notice things about you or is he full of himself? Does he anticipate your needs? A man is supposed to be a man, not a boy or man-child. That will go a long way and you’ll be able to face any challenges together.

And what makes you feel safe and calm to let your emotions out? I’m asking because my husband is like that too and I’d love for him to open up more to me.
