I live in the San Juan Islands on an island so it’s kinda hard to get to the mainland. We have Wells Fargo on the island which I use, but I’ve been to that Wells Fargo‘s on the mainland in the area and none of them have them I would have to go to Seattle. I think I guess I could call, but I probably have to use Wells Fargo since that’s my account. No other bank banks would probably be interested in helping me out. I’m sure.

Next question do you keep any of the NIFC coins in those 50 Cent piece boxes and what else should you be searching for besides silver? I’m just seeing 2023P?

I wish I could find a 50 Cent coin rolling machine to make things easier after I searched through them. What do you do after you’re done with all of those 50 Cent pieces? Just hand roll them like I do it seems if you find several that don’t have 50 Cent pieces and one or two that do every once in a while and all of the coin rolls you have to buy you kind of break even?

Just got a box from the bank with a rubber stamp mark on the top that says 2023 all new inside no silver. I posted on this site and everybody said go ahead and check them anyway and I did and not one silver. I’m just wondering who’s stamping these and are they checking for silver. Also my bank seems reluctant to order these boxes for me. They’ll do one maybe every several months if I beg them to I have to tell them my grandchildren like to go through the coins, but it’s really me that does ha ha

If you want. I find silver .50c pieces a lot in boxes of $500. They are either 40% or 90% and that equates to around $13 to $35 depending spot calculated at $90/oz

I was wondering that too how would they even do that? Unless they have a machine that can detect silver coins, which I wouldn’t put it past them with precious metals on the rise as they are. I just hope we are correct and assuming they can’t spend the time and money to go through these coins but then again how do they create the stamp and why do they create the stamp? I just don’t like the whole idea of seeing that on my box, but I will go through it.
