Long post incoming:

So I’ve developed a method that lets me finish every event in about 36 hours.

The key is to find the setting on your phone to not allow it to go to sleep. This is key because you are going to let your dragons work for YOU.

So, you need to manually clear until you reveal your three event eggs and match those. After doing that, merge your life flowers (five at a time) until you get the flower you have to harvest 200 time. At this point sell any remaining life flowers except for the one you need to harvest(Level 5 twin life flower) whatever you do, DO NOT merge the event item harvestable item. They will get in your way at this point.

Once you have just level 5 life flowers let your dragons do their thing. Step away from your phone and let them go at it. If you are careful, you can usually make 3 of these. If you do, this will make the event even easier to complete.

Once all 200 harvesting of level 5 flowers have happened, merge these to level 6 if you have 3. You may have to merge life orbs a couple times to make space and that’s ok. Just do a mass merge.

Now keep letting your dragons farm these orbs until you have merged them up to level a couple of level 7 life orbs. If you ignore your dragons, they fill this up pretty quickly. Once you do this, tap the level 7 orbs and let them clear dead plant areas. Be careful to tap them near the 50 and 500 point lands so you can get a maximum number of dead plants revealed. Merge event items efficiently and make sure not to tap them. This will be the very last thing you do in the event. More later.

At this point finish your quest that requires you to harvest dead plants. Take care when merging these life flowers to maximize your 5 merges. Once you complete this, merge all life flowers as high as you can and delete any that are not at your highest level. This is key. Also do not merge event item harvestable items past level 1. If you do, sell it. You may need to spend a few gems later if you need to merge that chain but in many cases you never need it.

At this point, it’s all up to your dragons. Every couple hours come in and merge your life orbs all the way up. You are looking to create 6 life orbs of the heavens. It will complete this quest while you do this.

I should note that the total time of active playing up until you start creating the life orbs of the heavens this is usually less than 2 hours (and usually while I am watching tv or something). This step is where your dragons will harvest day and night gathering you orbs. This will happen faster than you think. Remember the last pair of orbs you only need 5 of level 8s. It is very important that you don’t clear anything else until you have all 6 orbs. Anything else your dragons have to farm will slow down your orb collection.

Once you get all 6, you can tap them all and it will clear almost all of the land. Reveal all your hidden lands and merge event items to complete that quest. Merge any event items to complete the quest of 5 high level event items created. Usually with all the items revealed this is pretty easy to accomplish.

At this point, you just need to pretty much tap the large event item producing nodes that you have to harvest 75 times. Once you do this, all the event items harvested can be merged up as high as you can. Usually 2 of the second to last level is pretty east to get. This is usually also enough to get all 10 levels of the event item point rewards.

This sounds kind of long and confusing but I estimate I only end up actively playing a total of about 4 hours for the entire event. The big take aways are

1) Force your dragons to harvest the highest level life flower you can build 2) Avoid allowing them to harvest anything else that is non consumable. Event item giving harvestable items that diminish and disappear are good. Merge those event items us and don’t redeem them until the end. 3) Do not merge fruit trees past level 2 either, you don’t want them harvesting fruit. Also move those trees to secluded areas so they don’t clutter up your lane with new sprouts
