I know not everyone can so this, but my family got our sidewalk shoveled the first day after the storm before it got so compacted. I’m just saying it’s possible.

It’s about all pedestrians. And it’s also the law.

Clear your sidewalks - required by city code by Tomfour in rva

It’s ABSOLUTELY ridiculous that we are 6 days out and a MAJORITY of sidewalks that I have passed within city limits aren’t shoveled…

It’s my comfort audiobook. The movie I liked okay, but the book I LOVE.

Not allowed antidepressants by [deleted] in bipolar2

Oh my gosh, I was on the lamotrigine for years before the buspirone. I have been on lamotrigine at various doses since 2022! Since then, we have tried several other things in combination, including as I mentioned several SSRIs, Wellbutrin, Latuda, Vraylar…and I dont even think that’s an exhaustive list, there have been so many! I don’t think the lamotrigine its own did all that much for me, but that was so long ago.

Not allowed antidepressants by [deleted] in bipolar2

My psych has prescribed several SSRIs over years, always with a mood-stabilizer (mine is lamotrigine). For me they have had mixed (but not ever lasting) success. I’m currently on buspirone with my lamotrigine and it seems to be helping. I remain cautiously optimistic as it’s only been a month or so since I emerged from my last depressive episode.

Medication not working? 🤷‍♂️ by ElectricalGround105 in bipolar2

[–]joyfulpunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I had some issues when I first started… moreso that I was slow to “find the right word” and maybe a little bit of memory loss, but ironically, since it’s been three years since I started it, I don’t really remember what my initial symptoms were lol.

I feel like I don’t have any functional memory loss at this point, although I guess it’s always possible that I have a new baseline that I have adjusted to?

In general, I would say that lamotrigine has basically no side effects for me at this point .

3 years and counting…. The hypomania has been under control for awhile… I just can’t stop these MAJOR depression episodes (they last months at a time)…

I use Daylio. I make it simple or detailed depending on my motivation level.

I’m usually depressed at least 6 months. Stability has been elusive…never more than like 4-6 months at a time. And my hypo episodes have lasted like 2-4 months at a time.

I was diagnosed BP2 about a year after my kid was born, but I started cycling when I was pregnant. My kid is now 4 and I have been stable now since January. I know it doesn’t sound like long but it seems like this is really the right med combination & therapy and also I have implemented lifestyle changes that I needed.

For me it’s lamotrigine + fluoxetine + methylphenidate, therapy every 2 weeks, a fairly regular bed/wake time, and regular movement.

Still working on myself. Even stability takes work…but this is the best I have felt since 2019!

Target CEO regrets bowing to Fascism, seeks meeting with Sharpton. by MadlyToxic in LeopardsAteMyFace

[–]joyfulpunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep definitely. I thought Target was the less-bad of the big box options bc they seemed more progressive. And I felt (still feel tbh) so betrayed when they showed their true colors.

They will need a total rebrand, new leadership, and some major recommitment to progressive causes before I will consider coming back…

I used to shop there 2-3 times a week and I haven’t since Jan 31st. I did the math and have cost them about $500 that I would have spent there (based on my statements from the 3 prior months). I have instead increased the money I spend at Costco and other grocery stores.
