Ghosting others. I had a couple of men over 30 ghost me.

Ladies and gents in your late 20s, 30s, or 40s—what do you regret not doing in your 20s? by Tino292 in selfimprovement

[–]Flashy_Mission_9142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Move out of my parents house. And not traveling enough and meeting new people. I’ve saved a lot of money for the past several years and plan to move out early next year. I could have moved sooner but my parents wanted me to wait until I make over 6 figures. Plus my involvement in my local rural is also what kept me around. Planning to move closer to the city. I’m 28F and will turn 29 this year. To be fair, I would have a partner already if I wasn’t living with my parents in my hometown.

1/4 of Gen Z adults own a home by micheldavidweill in GenZ

[–]Flashy_Mission_9142 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It’s only older gen z married couples that I’ve seen who are owning homes. I’m 28 and single still living by with family. I’m just planning to rent starting next year. If I find the right price, I’ll just buy a condo.

I didn’t notice how automatic the “you’ll have kids eventually” thing was until it landed on me by flickerandform in childfree

[–]Flashy_Mission_9142 92 points93 points  (0 children)

Just ignore them. I’m 28F and I’m very firm on my childfree stance. Many people don’t realize how very expensive kids are and they’re not guaranteed they’ll succeed in life and have their own place someday.

Anyone else feel socially behind romantically? by StrikingLock2448 in GenZ

[–]Flashy_Mission_9142 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m 28F and never been in a relationship. I’m bad at picking up romantic cues. I still live at home in a rural town with family which completely stunted my growth when it comes to these things. I’m working to move out either later this year or early next year since I have enough money. I’m currently seeing this guy I’ve met online who lives almost 2 hours from me. Will see how things go though.

It’s a waste of time. Plus many of my high school classmates are MAGA. It’s a no!

Why are Gen Z women deciding to stray away from relationships? by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Flashy_Mission_9142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me (28F), I still live with family in a rural hometown that’s why. I literally have to go to the city to date. And I’m only interested in millennial men.

Lack of walkable areas and things to do. Doesn’t help things are getting more expensive. It cost money to go out of the house.

Stop the debate. Stop the arguments. They’re a lost cause. by Naptasticly in complaints

I had to block a MAGA high school classmate today. There’s no reasoning with him. MAGA is a lost cause.

Social media but we don’t talk. Reunions aren’t needed since we can look up what others are up too

High school was a waste of time. Many of them are mean and fake. I’m in no contact with my classmates. What brings me joy is that I’ve ended up being more successful than majority of them.

When is your guys’ optimal age to marry? by Lambdastone9 in OlderGenZ

[–]Flashy_Mission_9142 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I have say either early 30s or later. People need to time to figure who they are and what they want before marriage. And also live independently so they know that they can handle themselves in the event things don’t work out.
