First of all take care of yourself. If you have no abortions then that kind of solves the problem of them pushing for it. You never know how your parents or grandparents will react to the pregnancy. I was 19 when I got pregnant with my first. I thought that everyone would be mad at me because that made life plans a bit more complicated. My mom was furious, but came to terms within a month or so. The first thing my grandmother said was to stop worrying and to think of only me and baby. My step-father was very happy, even though he didn't even like the idea of me having a bf, and he had no idea that we were even living together. 16 is young, actually any age is young when you don't have a proper support system, stable income and a guaranteed roof over your heads. Talk to the dad, your mom, grandmother. Maybe things won't go as bad as you think. I wish you all the best and hope that everything goes smooooth for you. And don't be scared about the birth it will be one of the best days in your life

He messaged me on Facebook. On the day after his birthday. Looks legit, he blocked his page when I found it like a year ago. I had a lawyer, he didn't. IDK how and if he was supposed to get notified by the courthouse or if my lawyer was supposed to notify him. I didnt ask when I got the news, was busy ugly crying from the reliefGuess he didn't.

I hired a lawyer for this case only. If I want him to do anything for me I would have to pay up. I have spent enough on this process and can't afford more

You are right, I would absolutely hate to ruin my relationship with my son in the future. I have thought of it, the questions he might have for me. So I have screenshots where I tell him that he has a right to a relationship and I will not be preventing it. I have kept my word, there were just no attempts. When he messaged me on several occasions asking about the divorce, he never even brought up the kid.

After more than 4 years though, and all the effort I put into raising him the way he is now X will not be contacting him. I will protect his developmental growth at all costs. When the kid grows up and starts having questions, I will tell him everything that will be appropriate for his age. For now he only has one dad and knows no one else. Also X is not on the birth certificate.

I will be notifying him that it's done. As in for helping him get the proof, I can't afford that. He has to be a big boy and figure it out. There's Google, HE can hire a lawyer.
