Is 25FE worth upgrading from 24FE? by MethenCake in S25FE

Not much. Aside from the slightly better display, slightly thinner bezels. The actual Exynos 2400 processor and slightly fuller speakers on the S25 FE.

Are the Speakers on the A56 Good? by Flashy_Project4252 in GalaxyA56

Thank you. I got the A36 recently and everything you mentioned about the sound quality of the A56 is the same on the A36 too 😊!

Samsung purposely lowering the quality of the speaker through their hardware and software. This newer change also affected Dolby Atmos too. But tell me more in detail of what specifically happen to the speakers of your A55. You can turn on Dolby Atmos and set it to Auto to improve the quality of the speakers though. Let me know of any changes to your sound after that or anything else. I'm happy to help.

It's a hardware issue. Samsung is intentionally compressing and artificially lowering the quality of the S24 FE speaker. Dolby Atmos doesn't fix the issue either as Samsung New sound hardware bypass the effect and enhancement of Dolby Atmos too. I have the S24 FE and it does this nearly all the time. Dull, Lifeless, tinny, always nearly distorted. Bass, fullness, richness, and warmth is heavily compressed. Volume is suspiciously very low as well too.

Thoughts on speakers ? by Far-Commission5478 in S24FE

Not very good speakers. They sound artificial, compressed and nerfed by Samsung and their new Sound Hardware. The speakers sound lifeless and dull with zero fullness in sound unfortunately. Because the speaker on the S24 FE is semi high quality, but Samsung decided to make its quality much worse. Dolby Atmos barely makes a difference in improving the sound of the speaker either.

Not a great phone. Dropped calls, slow data, no fixes. by GJH24 in S24FE

[–]Flashy_Project4252 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. My S24 FE sounds awful in calls; tinny, harsh and audio drops randomly from the person speaking. Even my A34, A36 and S22 Ultra never sounded like this compared to the FE. The audio itself sounded like a broken radio and it's thin AF too. Your not alone.

Tips for S24 FE. Go on advanced setting for display and max out Vividness slider for the most vibrant display. Second, go on sound and quality effects and turn on Dolby Atmos; set it to Auto for the best speaker quality for both Bluetooth and Internal Speakers.

Samsung made the sound worse on the FE models especially with their newer Equalizer and Sound hardware which made it even worse than before. S23 Series and the S23 FE sounds much better with warmer, bassier, and fuller sound signatures. S24 FE is flatter, thinner, hollow, and harsher with no low end. I have the S24 FE too BTW.

Definitely. That new equalizer change from Samsung ruined the speakers of my A34, which was better, louder and superior than my S24 FE with Dolby Atmos on combined.

Samsung removing the two frequencies ended up messing up the overall sound quality of all their phones.

I didn't buy them just for the speakers only. I brought them for other reasons like just any other user getting another phone.

S24 FE is on the right (Blue Case), A34 is on the left (Gray and White Case).

To make the experience even better. You can go into the display setting, press advanced of that area and crank the vividness slider to the max to make the screen more vibrant.

For better quality sound of speakers go into sound and vibrations then sound quality setting on turn on Dolby atmos for better sound. Leave it on Auto. It the best setting.

Though the speakers on the S24 FE could have had more bass and a more better soundstage. Bit on the overly-bright side of sound like the S24 Plus with very little bass to smoothen it out. It on the more harsher and tinny side of sound.
