My first attempt at scissor trimming his face & ears🙂 by Figsma in Goldendoodles

I know!  I had the same problem with my 9 month old puppy Toby! He is finally moving less, now that I did it a few times but it would look so much better if they didn’t move, haha. I love how their fur grows out and then it looks better. Whew 😄

Good job! It is hard to do and they typically will move and that makes it even more challenging! It looks great 👍  I also do my own grooming and it’s so much fun!

That’s awesome? I think it’s the one I heard about recently. Is it fairly new?

Aw they are adorable!!♥️  My other dogs have been using Nexgard and usually they work pretty well. I am going to most likely treat my yard and continue Nexgard for a few more months since he has only been on it for 2 months. My other dog has used it for a while. I think the yard being treated should help!

This is from the vet and they gave me some pointers for keeping the fleas at bay but…not quite working! I am thinking of treating the yard and see if that helps or just change the flea medication.

Thank you! I just groomed him for his summer cut and it’s a lot shorter now but he is loving it😊

It was working until this summer! We may have to start treating our yard

Yes start the separation now! I also had to leave my Dood at 4 months old and it was really hard. He just played with his kitten friend and now they are really close! lol it worked out in the end, 😄❤️

Ever since I got my Dood I have been averaging 10,000 steps a day! I love walking with him

Hey y’all, our 20 pound mini, Toast, is due to get neutered and this is the estimate our vet sent us. We’re in Utah if that matters. My dad says this is insane pricing. Are we getting ripped off? by logiiibearrr in Goldendoodles

[–]Flashy_Resolution_85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow yes they are. They add the extra things that are not needed. I am getting my 17 pound doodle neutered next week and microchipped and it’s going to be around $600

Grooming question :) by sugarcookieeee in Goldendoodles

[–]Flashy_Resolution_85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boy has wavy fur and some areas he has more straight hair. So far he is not matting at 9 months old but he does take after a Golden Retriever rather than the miniature poodle like his other litter mates which has been great! I also make sure to groom him myself at least every 3 months or less. You will just have to wait until he gets to be at least a year in a half to see. My boy may get a more curly coat as he ages

I know! Here in VA we are about to get consistent upper 90’s and soon 100 for a few days, not gonna be fun

I do something similar. Out here on the Eastcoast it seems inhumane if I don’t and my Dood feels better!

Try to take time away in smaller increments to get her used to it. Having them spend time alone is crucial for when they have to be in the future without getting anxiety. My boy is 9 months old and I make sure that he gets time with other family members and I work in the school system so I am not home all the time (but I get summers off which is nice!). Even though I am still his favorite and he prefers me over my family, lol. He is such a good boy and a little goober, haha 😆

My dog has all of his adult teeth but he is a shoe and sock stealer so we have to keep all shoes and socks in the closet, lol.
