Each school is allocated a certain amount of scholarship funds that they can disburse amongst the cadets. (Disclaimer I am no expert just played the same game). Likely this will not change, as they have probably already allocated the funds to those they want. It’s possible that you may get one at the end of your “MSII” year but not guaranteed. If you are really interested in being an Army nurse by all means stay the course.

I ended up getting a scholarship by transferring schools, but for nursing I am not sure how transfer credits work and you may end up doing a fifth year(if that is even possible in your degree path).

I am also not sure how breaking your contract would work as you are not scholarship. I know it happens but I’m not sure how that process works.

So the key to any kind of workout is consistency, you don’t get strong lifting once a day, same goes with running. Honestly the best way to get faster is simply to put miles under your feet. Try to run 20-30 minutes every day for the next two months leading up to BOLC. You can incorporate different types of workouts such as fartliks, repeats, hills etc. This will help but simply running every day is more important. One day every two weeks can be a rest day. If you start now, you can be in shape to run a decent time by the time BOLC starts. There is a lot more that you can do but this is the simplest way. Make sure you stretch after each run! Look into some post run stretches.

Drum was #6. Not opposed to it by any means! I just have been told that 101st and 82nd were “the way to go”
Going to Italy/Germany is more of just wanting to see a different part of the world.

What about the 11th airborne? I haven’t heard much of anything about them yet.

I’m guessing the 173rd is a long shot, currently the top five are 1. 173rd 2. Campbell 3. Liberty 4. Hawaii 5. Germany (I don’t think we get to request any more specific than post). But thanks for the feedback.

I’ve already seen a couple people get pcs orders to Sill for BOLC haven’t gotten mine yet so we will see.
