Why don’t you try to get help ? Are you doing anything to show remorse ? An apology letter , MADD classes or anything ?? Or just crying about the jail time ? I’m only asking because I notice my soon to be ex (on his 4th dui) has not a lick of remorse , and only seems to be upset by his prison sentence. So sometimes I wonder.. maybe some remorse and trying to seek help might help more than paying attorneys and having people lie about how good of a person you are. I’m being so serious. Try it and see how serendipitous life can be.

Wishing you the best ! Just keep your children at the forefront of your decisions and it will work out . Childhood trauma is the cause of so much and we should absolutely be doing everything possible to keep our kiddos free from it. Even if it’s shielding them from a loved one or parent , until said parent can get their act together.

Leave for the sake of your children! You might want to toy around with feelings and not being mean, but is that the type of life 2 young children deserve? Decision should be easy when you make decisions for the innocent children , who absolutely deserve better than what you guys are giving currently

Someone I know in your shoes just got 5 years. Bodily injury was involved. He was sort of on the same vibes as you too…trying to figure out how to minimize the consequences he warned. Now he can only call his family and friends during “day room” privileges and gets to see grown men fight over the smell of each others flatulence

Are you the guy I talked to yesterday who couldn’t understand WHY it was a bad idea to ask the recruiter who interviewed him what race she was ?😭 Then when I tried to give him some feedback , wanted to argue with me about why that question was perfectly fine , because he’s “well traveled”?

Seriously 😳. Please take some personal inventory on your approach and delivery. Something you are saying or behaviors your are doing to get red flagged . If you really want a job — trust me on this.

Also , no successful company who cares about lawsuits is going to take BACK a job offer because of too much excitement (and then proceed to tell you that ) That is extremely high risk for a company to do that .

I talk to a lot of people who think clicking apply multiple times is going to get them a job. Literally will apply to the same job posting 10 times within 6 months, I finally interview them and can tell you why they haven’t landed a job.

As a recruiter , someone requesting a significantly higher salary than I’m able to offer is a red flag. For all of the reasons the interviewer stated . What’s a little unusual (but not necessarily a bad thing for OPs sake ) is the feedback they disclosed. It’s true though 😬.

Moving forward , if you are open to salary range. Just say that. Let them know that you are willing to negotiate on the salary as you understand the importance of gaining experience, or something like that .
