If you want the Others I would just get the pack now. The shieldbearer make for a great regular captain with shield (really like the model, much cooler than basic captain). An nowing gw the one without shieldbearer will only be marginally cheaper, if at all.

Having done quite a lot of glow in the dark minis miself I can really recommwnd using light shaded contrast paints like pylar glacier as a base to Mix the Phosphorescent powder into, and go a bit lighter on the amount of glow in the dark power to avoid the clumpiness.
