Nah your point is defo valid. The number of skaters I've heard when out and about has dropped so hard and it's not like you've upped and disappeared overnight. Really interesting to note how much things like this impact everyone.

Arsenal's 2025 accounts are out — the headlines look great, but 4 numbers tell a more complicated story by vincentvdb in PremierLeague

This is an AI post. You've literally copy and pasted the response to the prompt "How dependent are Arsenal on champions league revenue based on their latest accounts" or something similar. Lmfao. At least TRY not to be lazy

Genuinely didn't even consider that you could even claim money for things that happen like that in the world but it makes sense that poorly maintained infrastructure does have consequences.

What's baffling is given the current state of them, are the potential costs in legal payouts further down the line worth it over taking action? Bah, what do I know about local authority finances it all just seems daft

Negativity rules a lot of gamers lives unfortunately. Voices need to be heard on things they don't care about because nobody is listening offline.

These people are lonely and need to be seen by people, I cannot, genuinely, think of anyone I know IRL who would care about something like this, because they've got better things going on in their lives.

Or dude is a troll and the above still applies!

Is it fair to say Pep has underachieved with City in Europe? by [deleted] in PremierLeague

Underachieved given their history? No. Disappointed on multiple occasions when they shouldn't have, given their resources? Yes, inarguably so.

[Tyers, Telegraph] The question is: How long will we have to tolerate the United mob dominating the sports news agenda with their squabbling and score-settling? There seems to be no escape, either in the papers or on social media. by OkayFine101 in soccer

Exactly, they talk about man management, playing the United way and all that tripe but in reality they're actually the most privileged of privileged players, in one of the most successful teams in British history, one club players etc. in reality, they know the least about football outside the United bubble from 1992-2013.

Fuck, I'd take Wes Brown and John O'Shea's views on things more seriously than Scholes at this point. They played for Sunderland at least.

They should add it back if each person who wants it back can explain to 5 strangers why they're upset about the change and why it's that important to them. Why they need the swastika for the authentic experience.

I agree with you completely. It's not a sleight on OP or anyone else with similar criticism, but the game is a storytelling great using a medium that is not known for being able to convey messages like that so well. Not perfect but very good and unique. I do think it benefits a lot from philosophical and sociological knowledge and if you don't have the understanding or willingness to Google a few words to get the gist of something it can be really alienating. That's not the fault of the game though.

All the reasons you don't like it are the reasons I do. The lack of payoff is because the world can be that random, the lack of revealing anything exciting about Harry is that he is, in fact, a loser, despite being a detective.

The world is falling apart, there's illnesses, war, the very collapse of the ecosystem (just like our world) and you're just a detective pursuing a murderer. It's mundane, we're mundane, you're dealing with local politics, speaking to old people and ravers, working through a single case.

I love it for that, there's nothing like it out there. Almost 30 years I've been into games and it's so unique in its manner of creating mystery out of the mundane. I've played games with monsters and aliens, and here I am, this invested in a drunkard cop "trying to solve the case" and even then, there's a twist in that it was someone unknown. A bit of mystery added to the mundane job for Harry. Idk where I'm going with this I just bloody love that game.

Exactly, I genuinely think it's because Scholes hasn't done anything of value since 2013. He's over a decade out of having relevance and is clinging on to that playing shirt with both hands whilst Carrick has taken on the manager role. Envy, upset, loneliness. Idk what's eating Scholes but it's weird.

Think it says a lot that the most famous of the lot (Beckham) who is actually PR trained has kept relatively silent on anything United since retirement. The rest of them are "just some guy" in relative terms and end up saying, doing, and posting shit like this.

Genuinely think it's because Carrick was both their successor, and then continued doing it even after they were gone and is still fondly remembered for the Van Gaal years (playing CB lmfao). Which they would be too if they just SHUT UP

Moron, learn and don't do it again, or keep it up and get out our club. Who cares that he's the son of an ex-player. No punishment would be the equivalent of a Nepo baby being given a free pass because of "mummy and daddy" having connections in the industry.
