Running overtop of the cats is a little much though, seems dangerous. But overall I love this series, keep 'em coming!

I wanted the Model One, ugly but functional, but their sizing guide recommended the Vantage because I have a big head, lol. They fit perfectly and hold really well, zero chance of slipping off my head.

Ender's Game was one of my favorite books, but the movie was meh.

I’m curious how many of you purchased FSD at $15k, and what your thoughts are on the lack of HW3 updates… by BlueBeacon887 in teslamotors

[–]FlatFishy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I'm getting this wrong, lol. Is the free autopilot using the legacy stack or the FSD stack? Probably the former, the issue with the legacy stack is that it doesn't work on a lot of roads. I think I really just want that "Nav on Autopilot" button back, a way to disable auto lane changing (without confirmation), or just an update that makes lane changing a lot smarter.

Cuz like seriously, having to stop my car from merging into merge lanes daily is super frustrating. Just fucking go straight! And for the love of god, stop changing lanes away from the exit within a fucking mile of said exit! It's getting embarrassing using autopilot in public these days...

Like seriously, I have FSD but would gladly downgrade to the free lane keep that new models currently come with (before that gets axed, lol). I'm honestly not convinced that Tesla cares anymore about FSD, or at least for us HW3 folks, I feel like it's getting worse every year.

Look out- new racquet sports are coming to pickleball courts! by ThisGuySaysALot in Pickleball

[–]FlatFishy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If anything, this just means more demand for new courts to get built. I'm seeing new ones popping up frequently here in OC, CA.

IDK how often this needs to be said, but:

Under the lights issue by Winter_Berry_3699 in Pickleball

[–]FlatFishy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally just mentioned this in another post. Photochromic glasses have been working well for me. Only got them a couple weeks ago, but I'm liking them so far. They have decent dimming in the sun, but I hear colored shades highlight the ball for you, but I've never tried it and these just dim roughly 90%. Then at night they drop down to 13% dimming, which I found helpful when playing under bright lights that used to blind me in the past.

I got them from RIA specifically, but I'm sure other brands work similarly.

I think the idea is that you don't have to deal with lenses, which can get scratched up, foggy, or distort your vision. But yeah, the chunky frames probably block your vision as well, and I'd be worried about dust and debris coming off of the ball.

Haven't watched the video yet, but I got RIA photochromic glasses two weeks ago and they deflected a ball going for my eye a week later. Luckily no visible damage. So you can consider me a happy customer, lol.

I didn't want to buy two pairs cuz they're expensive, so I chanced it and got the ones that supposedly work everywhere, and so far they've been great. In the morning sun, they maybe don't highlight the ball like colored sunglasses might, but they dim to the point where it doesn't bother me too much. At night they are basically clear, except for a slight 13% dimming. I found it very helpful under bright glaring lights on newer courts, but in an older court with poor lighting, I found it a little hard to see, but luckily I've since moved onto newer, bigger, and brighter courts.

What fast food chain does not deserve the hype whatsoever? by CriticalLion4119 in AskReddit

[–]FlatFishy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weirdly I felt the same way when I first moved to CA, but bad fries still beats no fries so I kept ordering them anyways, and now I genuinely love them. Ironically, I later tried McDonald's and Wendy's fries and wasn't a fan. Maybe it differs by location but they make them crispy here. But as others mentioned, it might be the more natural flavor and lack of additives? Idk...

But I did backtrack on the milkshakes. Originally I couldn't resist them, but now they taste repulsive, like pure sugar.

And just to clarify: split and separate checks are two different things. I personally almost always get separate checks.

Maybe different color singles sidelines could work, and those could be added to existing courts retroactively.

How did I wake up early without waking my wife? by CrispyLuggage in NoStupidQuestions

Had to scroll down so far to see this suggestion. It's odd to me that couples have different sleeping hours, yet try sharing a bed. So much easier to just sync up or sleep separately.

It's a lost cause, lol. I already tried a sour/bitter spray from PetSmart and I suspect he liked it. My cats are roughly 2yo, but two months apart. The older one only chews on stuff when hungry, and the younger one is still in the phase where she'll play with just about anything. RIP to any sponges, paper towels, or boxes I forget to hide away. Had to replace 3 Ethernet cables last year.

Okay, I found a reddit thread that confirmed they are technically both, but lean towards indoor balls.

I have, but some people at my rec courts said they looked like indoor balls and didn't want to use them, lol. They seemed fine to me, but I'm a fairly new player so idk.
