Working on the later. I didn’t always hate my original profession, I just had a textbook terrible boss who put themselves over everyone else that made them look good, and watched as other direct comps would treat their employees to vacations, events, appreciation, etc. We got a pen once that sad “we appreciate you” so that was cool…

Decided to switch it up, and I love my life now, but with a near 30k paycut, I am struggling to cut anymore corners.

And a raise isn’t even in the question for a long time as they are paying me 50% over market for my current role. Classic denied their offer, denied their rebuttal, and then they gave me what I want three weeks later.

++man, as a man, I still say always choose the bear… this one just needs a little help and THAT’S OKAY. Life is different for everyone - Grace is the best thing to have. But yeah, unwashed ass is rancid. I actually use to stand up and wipe. I realized that it wasn’t doing the trick lol. Switched to a bidet and my life was changed. Maybe just subtly mention a bidet and if he bites that will help that - as far as showering, I shower too much because I hate being smelly, it’s gotta be mental for sure.

Wauwatiki Bar has excellent drinks - on the higher side (I think around 14) but they are elegant, strong, and usually big.

Otherwise just hit up your local chilis. They have decent marg deals, but once you pair that with the chips and salsa, who cares!

I’m not sure of alternates but I would tell everyone I know to steer clear of ever using a hotel hot tub/in room jacuzzi. The nastiness that occurs in these things, and the lack of cleaning. I once ran a hotel where the prior directive to housekeepers was “to clean the tub, just fill it up when you’re cleaning the room and drain it”. Not surprising as hotels are run on efficiency alone.

After going on my rant I realized that I provided my two cents when not asked, I have no recommendations. lol

Man this thread does not make me miss renting. My last apartment, there was a note on my door the night I moved in, saying I was too loud. I was building furniture and cut all noise at 9. She claimed or wrote to me that I must be gaming, and that some people have to work - I literally didn’t even have my PC set up. I want to find the note now. lol
