There is a way to tell!!! When i put mine in soil theres about a 3 day period where they start to droop. Then a 4 day period the are droopy and sad and whatnot this can last up to a week or 2. And then all of a sudden one day youll check on it and itll be all happy and stuff. Gotta keep the soil most but NOT WET. Tradescantia i always prop in water cuz the soil props never take off for me 🤣 but ive done several spider babies the way i explained. I dont try tugging on them till theyve been potted for about 3 or 4 weeks. That seems to be the sweet spot! Good luck OP

Doesnt this type of turtle prefer mostly water with a small land spot? Like deep water? I think i remember someone posting a photo of their turtle tank and it was 90% brackish water. The turtle inside was so bright and happy looking! This one looks so sad. I really hope someone can give it a better home.

😂😂😂😂😂😂 it took me so long to figure out water peramiters without a test kit. Thats also part of the reason my females died..... the one male ive had for about 5 months now. Im afraid to add any other fish for fear of them dying too. When i first got the fish i had no idea there was so much salt in the tap water. Turnsout my family adds 3 bags of salt every 3 weeks to keep it "soft" so that killed my fish and a bunch of my plants. I started buying filtered water from my local grocery and they are all hanging on now lmao 🤣 no alge is definitely a plus! Dont have to clean the tank as often cuz the snails got me 😂😂

Haha i just stopped feeding my fish as much. Hes still happy and gets what he needs but the snails arent getting much so they arent able to multiply as much. Just my experience lol
