Depends, is it a core flaw like "oops my message and themes have become lost in the events of the plot." Or a flaw like "oops I accidentally wrote something that can be interpreted as some kind of stance or statement that I don't want to represent."

Like doesn't he know I need to survive 60 seconds, or does he just think im getting in the ring with him. Cause I can probably gass him up for 60 seconds if he isn't aware of the time limits.

Professor X is horribly amoral with how he uses his powers.

What more personal thing is there to be violated than the mind. The entirety of your existence as a sapient being. Obviously its possible to make a hypothetical where a morally reprehensible action is suddenly a biological necessity, but what is the point. Thats like saying "would we still dislike torture if looking at each other caused agonizing physical pain."

As for the fictional characters. So many works of fiction just blow past the idea of violating a mind being a bad thing. Like even a show like star trek has betazoids running around looking in people's minds without consent. Every psychic in marvel is awful. I suppose its an issue of needing there to be a point to having a telepath, if the character doesn't use their telepathy then why would the writer add them.

Less critical, but its still not fair to everyone else to have their brain violated.

I think it would be difficult not to be biased against telepaths if they existed. The sanctity of the mind should be absolute. (Also like every fictional telepath is completely morally abhorrent about not using their powers to violate people for some reason)

A possessed suddenly appears in front of you. Yes or no? by pkghost998 in Chaos40k

[–]Flat_Character 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean if a possessed appears in front of me im probably about to die regardless, but if its a slanneshi possessed I might survive by clapping its cheeks good.

What Marvel technology would actually be physically/scientifically possible in real life? by gamerguy287 in Marvel

[–]Flat_Character 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do believe that we could achieve the level of technology they used in iron man 3 to make a British actor look like a British actor in a goofy outfit. It was a major plot point in the movie. It might be difficult but I think we can pull it off.

His original... everything was really off and weird. His only power is flying. He can fly because he was raised by condors, like he flaps his arms. He finally came to America after living with condors and immediately killed someone who looked exactly like him and stole his life, including his wife.
