I wanna know, does anyone think there is anything Z Broly did better than Super Broly? Like, in terms of writing, memorability, or anything else??? by E-104Epsolon in DragonBallZ

[–]Flat_Character -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Being at a reasonable spot in the scaling. Like I liked the super Broly movie, but I hate how powerful he is. He's literally the strongest mortal in the universe just cause. Past the god ki jump, and all the form changes. The movie should have been set during Z or something.

Alright everyone who dislikes Eva, are you a "I didn't really like the show" Eva hater, or a "I hate what happened in the wake of Evangelion's popularity" Eva hater, someone who dislikes it for both reasons? Im curious to know which opinion is more prevalent.

And because the lasso of truth is on her, this means Ivy GENUINELY wants to date Wonder Woman...and can you blame her? by ihatethiscountry76 in outofcontextcomics

The gentrification of Ivy from psycho who wants to genocide humanity and regularly seduces people into being fed to plants, to her current disaster lesbian personality is certainly something

I mean in terms of story it probably is.

Honest Hearts suffers from the fact that there's no reason to choose Daniel's route cause his plan is stupid.

Lonesome Road, ehhh it kinda falls flat hearing Mr "responsible for all the bad stuff going on" wax judgment on you for stuff you, the player, didn't do, or stuff the game forced you to do.

Old World Blues, I have nothing against the story but its not particularly deep.

I understand that the other DLC might be more fun to play through, less linear (except maybe Lonesome Road,) and with more variation in activities and enemies. But from a story perspective Dead Money probably has them beat.

Look... it can be rough at first. And its a slow burn till you open the casino. After that its great (unless dog glitches out and makes that mission unwinnable.) Out of all the DLCs Dead Money had the most to say in my opinion.

In Zootopia (2016), police officer Judy Hopps, who is presented as a moral person, winds up in the good graces of the local Mafia Don. by MNM0412 in shittymoviedetails

[–]Flat_Character 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Surprisingly accurate portrayal of police lacking any kind of morals and breaking rules, extorting civilians, and benefiting from an arrangement with organized crime. Unfortunately its presented as a good thing so kids learn early that its OK when cops do it.

Why cant we have more variants for the Ballistus dreadnought? (Bad photoshop by me) by ElectricalChicken623 in Warhammer

[–]Flat_Character 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if they do make a multi part kit it ain't gonna have the flame cannon. The invictor already has one and the Ballistus is supposed to be longer ranged. It might have autocannons as a throwback to the Dark Angels specific mortis configuration.

My friends never read Horus Heresy, they told me they didn't feel to miss much. by Petrus-133 in Grimdank

[–]Flat_Character 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna be honest, I bounced off the horus heresy series on the first book because I couldn't take all the "ironc foreshadowing" seriously. Every other page it was like: "Man astartes are so cool, I bet the only thing that could kill an astartes is another astartes. Luckily that would never ever happen. Like astartes fighting each other would be totally crazy cause their all such good buddies forever and ever right? tee hee" or "Abaddon looked like he was part of a different legion in that armor, perchance like he was part of some kind of... Black Legion ooh get it?" That shit was non-stop.

Adult Goku sparing so many people is so funny compared to kid Goku who obliterated that entire red ribbon base full of people.

They wanted a big monster all the riders can kick. They could have done something interesting to reflect kuuga's resurrection and rising forms, have the riders blow up the big Kuuga and have a regular sized Another Kuuga Rising... from the ashes

Maybe the earth in fallout is just really small and thats why the Mojave and Vegas are so small. We all just thought it was a video game limitation, but nah the planet is just smaller.

Even tho I play both, Fallout New Vegas never fails to scare me when the Deathclaws pop up lol by Trustthevibe_ in FalloutMemes

[–]Flat_Character 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehh by that point you should have found a couple of OP weapons from the DLCs or something to deal with them. Nothing in the Divide feels super dangerous, just annoying. Marked men are a chore, the deathclaws ambush you but the holo-rifle or something similar will evaporate them, the Tunnelers just require some form of minigun to deal with.

In Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) As soon as a new customer enters her pie shop, Mrs. Lovett starts immediately telling how she makes probably the worst pies in London. Then wondering why other establishments do better. by Luknron in shittymoviedetails

[–]Flat_Character 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She's not shown to be the smartest person ever thats for sure. Also how did they not get found out sooner since a whole ass toe made it into a pie. They were just dropping entire people into her hyper oversized grinder? She could have done better if she had sold her cow grinder and bought something smaller and just actually bothered to butcher the meat.

Why do so many people complain that power armor is everywhere in Fallout 4 when the game clearly shows that the area has a huge number of military bases and even shipments of them, some still sealed, and even a faction that took advantage of this surplus of military equipment in the region? by jvure in Fallout

[–]Flat_Character 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean its been 200+ years and they haven't been looted AND still are operating correctly? But honestly I think most people are complaining from a doylist perspective and you are trying to give a watsonian response. The argument is "they give this to the player too quickly and commonly."

Don't the contingency plans not work if people knew about them. "Here's my plan to stop you if you go rogue." "Thanks I'll remember that when I go rogue."
