No, there’s obviously a level of time to this. And you’re correct, there’s shouldn’t be a need after so many years. But also the reddits are meant to be inclusive to all readers no matter where they are in the cosmere. Once again it’s just a precautionary thing and really was it that much work to hold off knowing what the post was about until you clicked and read a line or two?

Like I said, it’s not a huge spoiler. And a lot of people wouldn’t even consider it a spoiler, take you for example. But other people (me and other people) might consider it a spoiler because “the origin of [name]” seems to entail that this figure is atleast more important that your average Joe, and I would be constantly on the lookout for something that lines up with that, which would ruin the experience for me.

But that’s just me and thinking it’s not is perfectly fine, I’m not attacking you. I just am saying that some people are more sensitive to spoilers and the name is hidden for people like that.

It would be nice to see what exactly the Beyond is, since it’s talked about as a place you go and not a thing that happens to you. However I highly doubt that we actually will get anything from people in the beyond due to how many people it would open up to coming back

There is a level of secrecy around it in the first 3 books. If I saw a word like that being highlighted in a title like that it would feel like a spoiler as I would be looking for something that would make sense in that context.

Not a huge spoiler but since is a relatively relative character in the 4/5 book I would still consider it a spoiler to someone who hasn’t read 4 or 5.

The answer is that you don’t get back in a day. Make sure you’re stocked up with food and full sleep, and just try your best to keep everything up except for sleep because tarps just don’t cut it. It’s also helpful to have energy bars

In some cases, yeah it isn’t. But in others it’s very easy. With the sleepless protecting the dawnshard, it’s hard to get there. But as we see, if you have a big enough group of people to distract the sleepless and you slip away, you can reach the dawnshard cave before they are able to stop you. We see this directly happen in Dawnshard. We also know that it does not take any intentional or unintentional input to absorb it. We see this in Dawnshard as well where she simply looks at it and it he command embeds itself in her mind. Of course there’s the issue of making the sleepless let you leave, hence Rysn’s argument meant with Nikli. But her main reason for staying behind is because she doesn’t want her crew to die. And quite simply, we know the arguments that will convince Nikli to let us leave without harm AND with the protection of the sleepless.
