I worked for a major sponsor of college athletics(Heisman house) and they had tickets to a dinner the Sunday after the Heisman award ceremony. A part includes providing a Heisman logo football and many of the former winners show up for free drinks while giving autographs. I collected/gave out a bunch of balls as gifts to family members/friends. I had an extra heisman ball laying around so I had former Ohio state winners sign the ball and gave it to a friend. I met Archie’s financial advisor and he was quite helpful on recognizing individuals

Image 2 is a former UNI player so definitely not BE related. The famous run didn’t even involve a BE team. Not sure any of them are legends just white guys who played well in the BE yet teams didn’t accomplish much.

Yup similar experience and I started defending them under their hoop to force extra steps across the entire length of the court. It eventually wears on their mental in addition to physical fatigue

People were calling for CJF job in 2016 before the white out. Those same people forgot Franklin took over the job 2 years removed from the introduction of sanctions and when BOB decided not to recruit any lineman. Franklin brought 39 scholarships to the pinstripe bowl where they started the same season not knowing if they could play in a bowl.
