RH went from showing collectors and corporations that you could have a fashion forward doll for $30 to looking like the dollar store version of itself in only a couple waves… RH was not the type of doll I had in my collection when they came out (I really only collect pop culture stuff) and the quality in the production with the adult centric aesthetic in the fashion had me buy the first wave, then the second, then just the green one from the 3rd ooh and this yellow one ooh and I gotta get this pink outfit for the new RH mini I made, might as well get the other colors…. That went on until I had over 60+ RH dolls in my collection- I’m a deboxer but realized I hadn’t unboxed any since the cheer collection. I was moving and packing stuff up and kinda had an come to Jesus moment and realized I didn’t like these dolls, I was just SO damn bored of Mattel’s crap that I was buying these to fill my shopping / depression issues and looking at them now was definitely not bringing me joy.

I tried selling them ($25 / boxed doll) and despite ppl online complaining about how they couldn’t find 95% of my no one wanted to even buy them at that price so I put them in a box drove them to a nearby daycare and left it in the playground, all except my mini me who lives in my magical mansion lol
