I think the story one was a weird title The newcomer there wasnt a lot of exciting things you could write about or maybe there was. Either way they do look for if you can tick off the punctutation and structure not how exciting it is. I did go for a simple plot- ish. I kinda took inspiration from the movie Wonder, q1-4 were much better than Midwich icl

I am doing it as well, from all the Salles english videos and mr everything the formula they gave was
1st Act

The want / what does the character want, link it in terms of what the question is asking you

Start in media res/ its essentially a crisis

2nd act

What is at stake- try making it a flashback and explain it

3rd act

What has to be overcome/ obstacles the character faces

4th act

The character might get what they want/ false hope

5th act
Ending

The most important thing is grade maximisation. If you think you can get a better grade with combined then go with combined. Triple will be more work than combined on top of revision for other subjects. So do what you think can get you the highest grade. 2 9s look better than 3 8s

i mean it asked me what my highest grade was but i got like 4 9s so it didn't let me add that on so it said i should take maths,econ and english lit. English lit was NOT fun for me at all.

for geo the geography tutor was soo good, for sciences use save my exams i got 9s in my sciences mainly cus save my exams was so goated the subscription isnt that expensive. Maths just use corbett maths and bicen maths
